Hi, i have a renault clio 1.5dci 2004 and i am having a problem with the climate control temperature. The panel, fan speed and lights all work ,the heater is also blowing but no matter were i put the temp it blows cold all the time , the AC seems ok and the engine temp is fine . could any one please help as to what the problem could be . Hi This my first post I have a 97 senic and both keys blips have failed so I got another blip and car chip from ebay but it wont syinc when I hold the button down for 5 secounds nothing happens the dash light just keeps flashing please help thanks

had my 03 dci clio to renault there say it has low compression on cylinder 2 they say a oil flush might fix it can a oil flush do this it has 49k on clock

Is the dephaser pulley off a Scenic 2 1.6 (part no 7701478505) the same as the 2.0 VVT ?

Phoned Renault for a price for a new gasket, never got as far as the price after he said sorry, no price for a gasket, you have to replace the head :shock:

Seems there is no rocker cover gasket, and once it develpos a leak, you have to replace the head, that'd be right.

ok, my car has just drunk all its water for the second time in a week, theres no sign of a leak so do any of you guys know where its going?

Anyone know why some Lags without Satnav have these fitted?

My car has one, and it's not been retro fitted, and has a lead to it, but no satnav, so what would it be for?

As far as I'm aware the radio aerial is incorporated into the rear screen?

hi guys im trying to change my glow plugs on grand scenic dci130 but am unable to get the engine cover off,ive undone the visable 2 bolts but theres something holding it to the right underneath where all the water pipes,egr is etc and im at my wits end lol

I found on the forums here where to find the resistor pack to rectify the flat out only blower fan for the heater but am still looking for info as to what may cause and how,where to start looking to remedy the complete lack of heat from the heater into the cabin.I can here changes in air direction when increasing the setting on...

Paynes says you need to drop the subframe completely, including splitting the knuckle joint on the steering and the power steering pump pipes, what a ball ache to replace a wishbone.

I have just bought some reversing/parking sensors for my mk2 Renault Clio and will be fitting them soon.
So does anyone know what the spacing has to be between the four sensors?

In addition to information posted by StiffyBrian ( Sun Nov 2008 ) I would like to add this as a temporary security repair for windows that have locked in the down position on an 05 Megane scenic, this may apply to Scenic and Laguna models as well ( worth a try ! )
I removed the door panel ( not too difficult but requires quite a lot of effort ) :-...

My local stealer wants £120 for a keycard for a Grand Scenic and £41 to programme it.

Is there a cheaper alternative ?

My Laguna 2 1.8 16v, has over the last 2 days developed a problem.

Having a problem with my Laguna. Gearchanges are becoming very clunky. Particularly 2nd into 3rd & 1st into second. It is much worse when cold but still eveident when it is warm.

I have had two opinions from Renault dealers after test drives. One said the synchro rings had gone and that I need a replacement gearbox (no individual parts...

hi there im new here i have just just picked up a bargin a 2000 laguna 1.9 dci for 150 quid but there is a problem that i was told about but i cant put my finger on it so heres whats going on with it

Hi, one of the keys that came with the Scenic had a broken plip button. When I opened up the key it turned out the circuit board inside was cracked and bent.

So I buy a replacement off the bay and swap the old key blade and transponder chip into in.

hi i'm a newbie
my daughters got a 1.6 scenic sport and it occationally won't start always at a busy time with the kids, she gets in key the ignition dash lights on not even a click on starter trys it a few more times and it starts and runs fine until the next time anybody got any ideas.

Still looking around for a good Grand Scenic to buy but one thing I'm seeing is dealers promoting the manual handbrake version as a good thing. Is the automatic handbrake a problematic thing ?

Does this model have cruise control ?

This might seem a crazy question but I spend a lot of time on motorways - So when the car is doing 70, how fast is the engine revving ?

Hi I have a Y reg Laguna 2 estate 1.8 16V dynamique.

When she starts for cold she purrs beautifully. Then when running temperature is reached on idle, there is a tapping/knocking form the engine. When you tap the accelerator the noisy almost disappears.

Could this be a cam noise? or hydraulic lifters?

She is running fine with no apparent loss...

Hi there, i have a 1.2 16V clio 2001 with the D4F engine, it was running o.k until before xmas, then i left it 2 months and now it wont start, i was wondering whether anyone had any suggestions on how to get it to start?
I have tried cleaning the battery terminals and earths, i have replaced spark plugs, i have replaced the crank shaft sensor,...

I have a 98 Megane 1.6 8 valve.
It starts first time every time (now), the automatic choke keeps the car idling at around 1000 rpm. However, as soon as the car warms up the car will not idle at all. If I give the engine a couple of revvs before it cuts out it sometimes idles fine.
Any ideas?
