It appears that the account password has been hacked and a spammer has used the account to sent PMs to several of our users.

We have now disabled that account, and I have deleted the spam PMs, but cannot delete any notification emails that were sent.

Hi. The original steering wheel in my C2 was starting to peel. Wasn't too bad at first but of course it slowly got worse and after a recent trip to Germany it was sticky and not very nice to hold. Just thought I'd start a big of a blog thingie.

In 2007 we purchased this Xantia V6 with 27,000 miles on the clock from the daughter of an elderly gentleman who had died.

Since we've had it we've given it a full set of spheres, set of new Michelin tyres and plugs and leads as it started to miss quite badly.

There's a scuff on the front bumper...

So the C5 X7 with xenon headlights uses a specific light bulb for the corner lights. The HP19W bulb to be precise and as far as I know it's the only car that uses that light bulb and only with the xenon headlights. On normal headlights it's a standard H7 bulb. The wastegate control system is self calibrating, you don't need to do anything.

Have you checked that the little filter on the atmospheric port of the control valve is not blocked?

Hi all, I recently acquired a C5 Exclusive with a couple of problems namely non functional wipers. I've read a few threads on here about it and I think (hope) that's in hand now.

There's a bit of a knock at the front right when taking up drive and sometimes a slow turn so I reckon inner bushings? still to confirm that.

Have removed the pos.6 maxi fuse, but happened nothing. Problem still exists. Also find a 30A burned out fuse positioned into G40. One and only fuse that I found burned in the whole car.
But moving 80A fuse to pos.4 from pos.3 have solved the problem. Everything is fine. No Lexia was needed.

For some reason (aka the partner wanted one for the dogs) i made the mistake of travelling 70 odd miles to pick up the berlingo multispace dw8 from hell.

After the 70 year old bloke made some excuse as to why it was easier to meet me at the train station (conveniently so i didnt get his address) and then do a runner before I could test drive it...

I’ve changed the thermostat and bled the car several times and now it’s running too hot. It’s not overheating but under normal conditions it’s running at 100ish and turning the heaters on keeps it at bay. The fan kicks in a bit later now. So I’m either blaming the new thermostat or it’s simply not bled correctly yet. I can get it pressure bled...

I have one of the few C6 petrols and it has been my main car for some time, as was the last one. This one seems to be more of an ungrateful bastard than the last which has at least double the miles of this one and is merrily tootling round Wales with its new owner.

Models with the AMVAR system have 2 suspension computers. One in the BHI and the other CSS is a separate one. On these models each has a separate function, but work together with the CSS computer controlling the suspension ECU in the BHI.

It could be a bit risky as the suspension heights are retransmitted to the BHI computer, so removing the CSS...

Bought this end of last year .. in really good condition, original paint and, rare for a hot 306, it also avoided the Max Power era. Less than half the Topic price too.

This is my current fleet:

The C5 is an SX model with optional Leather/Ambiance pack, 2 liter 136hp EW10J4 engine with the manual box. Only one previous owner and Its an ´04, so it has the stainless exhaust and superior :) drive by wire throttle.
About 100k uk miles on it, the interior is in very good condition. The exterior needs some work...

I have now changed the bonnet, right front wing, bumper and headlight support bracket.
Bumper and wing are freshly painted. The new bonnet is in the wrong shade, left wing needs to be replaced due to corrosion and my painter forgot to paint the grille.
So i will get those repainted in a while...
Treated it to a polish and ceramic coat...

a new acquisition to the fleet. Old man motorbike in the form of an R1200RT BMW.. yes it has an ABS fault, and it's not been MOT'd for 8 years.. 21,000 Miles in Titan silver, no electronic suspension, no stereo, yes to heated seats! and cruise.

Coachwerks in Victoria BC restored the bodyshell of my 1966 Peugeot 404C Injection, number 4598609.

Note the KF2 Injection engine, now on the stand in the photo

The new old stock body panels (floors, front and rear wings, other panels, all in NOS) were dropped off at the blasting shop in November 2016.

I'll update this from time to time and...
