I've tried three times to download the touch screen and map update files (one is 5,88 Gb and the other is 17 Gb) using the Citroen Update app on a laptop

Despite completing the downloads (the 5.88Gb takes over 40 mins despite me being on a fast fiber internet) , at the next step it says the download failed and so forces you to try again.

1. Does Android audio require the phone to be plugged in via a cable, can it not work via Bluetooth?

Hi, I've seen a few guides on how to do this for SMEG radios. However, you need some technical skills. It's not a software issue but a hardware one. This means you need to buy a module that supports it, install it near the radio, and connect everything properly. Sounds like a Head Unit issue. You may want to try and factory reset it if you can access that from the settings menu. It will lose all the customisation, but may just sort it. If not, it really will need a diagnostic to ascertain the problem. Being a 2018 DS model I suspect you have the DS Connected Nav system, so will need a later version of...

I'm not sure if this is the right sub-forum , but anyway I have A Problem.

I have bought a second hand e-c4, 2022.

The map and Navigation firmware are due upgrades. The map needs it as it didn't know about a couple of traffic islands on the way home.

So I bought an expensive genuine Samsung 64GB USB C memory stick (from Samsung)

Answering my own post, in case it helps someone else.

1) Pulled the 12V battery lead and waited 5 mins before reconnection- no difference.
2) Rebooted the NAV unit (hold 'phone button on wheel down for 10 seconds and release)- no difference

What did work is spending out on a selection of 32GB USB-C thumbdrives. A 32GB HP Dual drive the one where...

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all well.
I just bought a 2016 Citoën C4 Picasso, 1.6 HDI 120 HP. I am very pleased with this so far.
My only issue is to find a solution to have the Apple CarPlay displayed on at least one of the two screens, using Waze, Spotify, etc.
Is it possible? If so I have not found how to do that, even with an interface....

I have 10 inch display with CarPlay and TomTom live traffic is activated.

Hello,
Could I please ask for some help.

Went to the main dealer here to get updates for the car.
The guy there gave me a link to download the Citroen Update software.
I did that and entered my VIN.
It went to the download screen and it lists two downloads.
I am able to get the map update no problem.
But then it keeps failing to download Software...

I have a Media system in my C4 Grand Picasso 2016:

HMI: 20.522.45.4.0
iMX: x0011040_160906_1S.7A133
V850 version: W2.0_16.1C26.1

Citroen app told me to update to Touchscreen software (1_076_16.1B116.4)

After updating the screen is stuck at with the message

Ambience not configured
Loading.

Does anyone have an idea on how to roll it back, or...

When the engine is turned on the touchscreen head unit stays on Peugeot logo and doesn't load any further.
At the same time AC turns on at MAX heat with no way to turn it off since it's done only via the touchscreen.

The car drives fine as usual, no errors/warnings, some info(like navigation) is missing on the screen behind the steering wheel...

Connected Services not working even with an active subscription

Hi All,

I have an active subscription for the connected services in my 508 2019, and the Tomtom traffic alerts, speed camera alerts etc suddenly stopped working 2 days ago.

As you can see in the images, it says that services are activated but not available, I'm also sending the BTA info that I got through the services mode.

Any thoughts or tips...

I've moved your post into a new thread, as the previous thread is for updates only, not general enquiries.

You cannot update your system to have navigation - end of. You only have a specific head unit without navigation hardware and no firmware update can change that.

You should of got the vehicle with connected navigation installed (NAC) if you...

Hi, I have a 2016 Citroen C4 1.6 BlueHDI EAT6. Its SMEG version is 6.1.D.R19 and CD: 30489.

After extensive research, I learned that these units have Carplay, but it is not activated, and the Carplay buttons are unavailable. I found an example that matches my situation:

C4 2015
Old SMEG: SMEG6.05.D.R8 CD:30248
New SMEG: SMEG6.4.A.R10...

Reason being the headunit has no Sat Nav hardware (GPS tuner etc,) so is not there to start with. The GPS antenna is only part of the equipment and you probably won't have that either.
