Dismantel the radio system, and subwoofer/amp installation

Hello folks

I wanted to let you all know about a small company in Leicestershire called Brake caliper solutions ltd

None of the 'Specialists' I contacted could help. The 2 ladies that run this company found me a new spring and also sold me a pair of...

Hi All,

further to Blackdogs post regarding Blaupunkt radio codes, the successful code for his radio was obtained using a program downloaded from www.eserviceinfo.com called BPcalc_by_alekandaralex. Type in BP Code Calculator in the search and the above program can be found in .zip form on page 4. Remember, if you do download the program, run the...

I seem to to remember there being an area on this Forum where people could post news of PSA garages around the country, but I can't find it on a skim-read.

I recently came across this garage in Google Maps and they do seem to be worth considering if you're anywhere near Enfield in North London:

Peugeot Servicing and Repairs Ltd.

I'll be...

Here's a useful link to the rules and regulations of what is tested in an MOT.

This is worth a watch i now use this in my picasso it makes a real difference. Its great how this chap goes out of his way to fully show how this stuff works.

Diesel engines only

I have a 1996 Citroën Relay 2.5 diesel medium chassis type 18 cab with a rusty panel which needs replacing. Having just manufactured a Shogun rear arch out of sheet metal, I don't want to have to do anything like that again. Ever. It's underneath the van and has a small rubber grommet in it. It is drivers side just to the left of the step section....

Not sure if any on has heard of these before but they are a decent bunch and I found them whilst searching for the auxiliary drive belt tensioner bolt online.

Worth checking with them if you have a hard-to-find part also.

Not sure if this breaches any advertising or commercial forum rules. Admin. Please remove if not allowed.

There's a mobile clutch service - Williams - who post vids on youtube. Here's a few relevant ones for FCF. Intrigued that in both the first cases he manages without removing even the subframe extensions, and in fact uses them to rest the box on. Some good time saving tips in here!!

Note the well knackered DMF!!

For those members interested, I've assembled all the Citroen Diagbox change logs, detailing the patches, issues and fixes from version 6.39 (7.06) on. As there are quite a few updates, I have created a section on the Citroen section of the Forum Wiki site - here is the link:

Found this a useful catalogue of aftermarket (and OEM) rubber-metal components, as well as a huge selection of cooling system expansion tanks.

Found another breaker with GS and DS for breaking

Came across this company looking through Ebay, a well laid out shop with a fair bit of Renault Peugeot and Citroen stuff listed also some motor bike stuff, tyres mainly.
Might be useful for some, prices seem reasonable but watch the postage price on bulky stuff.

Check this channel out

Not spamming just sharing I was gripped watching the xantia sphere change this guy did on his channel.

Me and the missus have used em a few times, properly cheap in comparison to some others we tried but was just proper helpful which is the main thing. Worth a try! :)

Found this little website while looking for the torque setting for my C5. You will be able to get other vehicle details on here as well I should think.

Edit: Incorrect info, see further down.

Somebody was offering them on Ebay for...……………..£299.00 but no longer listed.

...now, I'm not actually sure how a 'Historic Car' is defined, but this petition, set up by Practical Classics' Editor might assist to keep interesting cars on the road, and give our children & Grandchildren something interesting to own in the future.

Car insurance now available in PAYG from cuvva
Wouldn't suit me as I don't agree with telematics but is probably good for learners, second cars and those with points. My Xantia came up as £16.25 subscription and £1.60 per hour.
As the subscription covers fire and theft when not driving I believe the car can be taxed on this policy.

I found these on Amazon, good quality Scruffs work pants with removable kneepads and a belt included. Size 32 only at £12.99, I bought a pair and they are decent so I thought some of you may like to know for all those days you spend kneeling by your cars.

I was looking for somethng on the web today and happened upon this site - mainly for Renault issues, but they have some cheap fixes / parts for certain models of Citroens exhibiting some common problems. I have copied the links below for anyone interested. Mainly cheaper alternatives to the Heater Resistor, Faulty Indicator plungers in DAV comms...

I'm sure many here already are aware of this site, but here it is anyway for those who may not be aware and would like to be :)

I was directed to this site from another forum, it's got invaluable downloads covering maintenance, repairs and wiring diagrams;

I've downloaded the offline version of SEDRE for my 307 - it covers all Pug models,...

For anyone who has issues with their systems typically the Magneti Marelli / Blaupunkt systems (No visible satellites, poor GSM signal, poor radio signal, fried tuners, frozen screens etc.,) plus most other systems fitted to PSA cars, here's a couple of companies that specialise in their repair:

UK-Based
Clarion Service Centre UK

Since I'm always on a look out for spare (broken cars) parts, I've stumbled on this site (currently, the C5 is selected), seems to be a dynamic catalog from various sites, mostly ebay though ... but it has the car parts categories well visible ... if this page was already shared, feel free to ignore this post:

Hi All,

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but there is now a free MOT history lookup page provided by gov.uk:
