I don't have knowledge of the Peugeot, but the issue of a loose connection is known with several makes of car.

Generally speaking, the Activa is very similar to a normal Xantia and all the usual checks apply when vetting a potential purchase. So look carefully at Strut Tops, the Heater Matrix and so on. This guide will concentrate on those areas to check that are very much Activa-Specific.

Using the built-in lifting eyes on the engine is the very best way to hoist. In theory at least, if you use equal length chains on them up to the hook of your engine crane, the engine and gearbox should tilt to the correct natural angle...

My Activas door badges are looking a bit old, they are starting to delaminate on the backs, they look a bit like a bad chrome door strip. One is worse than the other.

Im not sure if they are still available new, however having bought a black 136mm for the boot from ebay and it being of original quality, im looking at getting the smaller badges...
