Updating to 2.86 is well known for losing the configuration of the head unit and it is strongly recommended to use a program called Mirascripts to download the configuration and then upload it after updating has finished. I would guess that you didn't do this and you're now left with two alternatives (three if include just leaving it as it is)....

Bonjour à tous,

Je possède un Citroën C4 Picasso 7 places de 2010 équipé du système de navigation RNEG (MyWay) avec lecteur CD.
Suite à une coupure de courant, l’écran est bloqué avec le message :
PLEASE INSERT UPGRADE CD.

Je recherche donc le CD de mise à jour officiel version 33.04 ou un lien pour télécharger l’ISO afin de le graver et...

I think that's just maps. Looks like the OP needs firmware and I can't see that there.

Since my RT6 upgrade to v2.80, I have noticed a few niggly things that I used to have before it originally died on me. Namely:

1) The SRC/TEL button on the end of the lower right control arm does nothing now, where it used to step through CD--AUX--TEL--RADIO

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.
My radio stopped working, along with, nav, parking sensors etc. The slot makes a sound like it wants to eject, every 10 seconds. The screen is also blank. I've tried a reset by pressing the eject for 10 seconds, the screen moves forwards and then back once.

I've checked all fuses etc and nothing.

I have the 3008 hybrid 4 of 2014.
I had the same problem.
The solution:
1. Find and download the RT6 Rneg Firmware.
2. Configure a usb stick to FAT32 (preferable not more than 32GB)
3. Extract the downloaded firmware to the USB stick.
4. After that and it's critical : type cmd on Windows command line. Choose to open it as a manager ....

So looks like my issue was a dodgy USB drive. Scrapped it and started with a new drive, clean format, and loaded up 2.80 again. It's worked a treat! I would check the fuses first and then wiring before spending loads on a new radio or screen. There will most likely be one in the dash fuse box, on our 308 it is a yellow 20 amp fuse F29 but on your car is likely to be different. As a guide, the screen on our 308 has stopped working apart from just the Peugeot logo and the dealer has diagnosed it...

Personally, I would suggest you leave it well alone - V2.86 is a major upgrade and can leave your system unconfigured (reset to factory settings, that you can't restore using Diagbox without a connected account and diagnostic token purchase). If it works, leave well alone.

We don't provide maps here as they are chargeable from Citroen.

Also, be aware that a 2.86 firmware upgrade is a major release and as such can leave your system non-functional! It all depends on the version you have and the car's electronic architecture.

Only upgrade the firmware if you really have to!
