Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

You can unpair the camera - the only reason you really need to connect it is if you are taking pictures and uploading them to social media using your phone. If you are not fussed about that, then don't pair it with the ConnectedCam app.

Thinking of getting a C4 for the misses around a 2007 model.

Will be looking a VTR, VTR+ or Cool model (rear elec windows wanted). What does the factory radio do? Play mp3 etc.

Right, you don't have the SMEG digital receiver, you have a dual band RD45 unit.

So I would suggest getting a diagnosis with Lexia / Diagbox to see if the fault can be pinned down - but here is the aerial routing - but note you do not have all the options shown!

I have managed to obtain a genuine Citroen bluetooth phone module and I assume that, like the Peugeot, it fits behind the glove box. If this is the case, could anybody tell me how to remove the glove box?

Could it be so that the rather pathetic stock subwoofer is protected on higher volumes, and it´s level is dropped in the additional amp.

I would scrap that JBL-soundsystem and install aftermarket amp and at least sub after original HU. Then you have to remove that JBL-amp with diagbox, after that I think you wouldn´t suffer this problem.

I have purchased a 2016 Dispatch Enterprise (2015 model) the van did not come with a sat nav unit. I purchased a replacement Teletrac which works with the exception it will not work a route,
I have reset it a few times and still no joy, any ideas on how to fix this. Would at other unit work with the installed wiring.

Hi, I bought a Citroen C3 (2002 model) the other day, and everything was working fine

However, a couple of days after I bought it, the radio stopped working?

It’s displaying ‘MHZ’ and then a frequency (radio station number) - but nothing is playing and no matter what is pressed it isn’t playing anything. It’s still playing CDs absolutely fine...

I have owned this car for 3 years. Each year the display (in the centre of the dashboard) has become more and more faded on hot days. This year the display has vanished, except on dull days or at night. Putting a reflective sheet inside the windscreen does not work - it is the hot inside of the car rather than direct Sunshine that is the problem....

You can’t just fit any old screen, there are significant differences between the MKI and MK II systems.

The original MK I had a VDO system, whilst the later MK II had the RT3 system with these colour screens and they are materially and connectively different.

Further, they can be VAN or CAN depending on the electronic architecture of your car....

That cable basically looks like it uses the CD changer port to provide the audio track only. Don't expect it to provide any other controls. As for coding, if not already enabled, you will likely need the CD-Changer option activated using PP2000.

I just happened to spot a youtube showing an installation in a 308, it starts off looking like a bit of a bodge-job, but at the end of the video (about 17 minutes into the video), he demonstrates most of the functionality that is normally lost when fitting an after-market system.

Ok so on your 2004 model, you have an RD3, a precursor to the RD4. You also have the slightly older multifunction screen.

So the current RD3 unit is controlled by the ECU in the multifunction screen, which authorises the power on and off of the unit and the supplies.

Hi, I'm considering a Connects2 ( CD changer to 3.5mm headphone plug adapter. The Connects2 technical department states that it might be necessary to 'enable' the CD changer before the adapter works. Does anyone know if this is possible with the Lexia 3 - Peugeot Planet?

So i have a 2009 Citroen c5 with a sat nav. I went somewhere to wash my car and the guys that cleaned it ruined my sat nav......there is a green line in the middle of it. Im thinking of replacing it with one of those ebay aftermarket sat nav units that have touchscreen and all those shenanigans. however im not sure if its just plug and play. Would...

Hi Guys.

Just a quick question regarding original radio for Xantia. I bought car without radio and had a hope that I'll be able to fit original radio from my previous (two years older) Xantia. Unfortunately looks like top socket/plug is different and power is located on different pins on plug (radio reset itself every time when ignition if off)....

I had also some problems to get steering wheel controls working with Kenwood HU. If I remember correctly, first I tried Kenwood´s own adapter that didn´t work at all, then after that it was InCarTec or similar adapter that worked partly, and after I sent it to manufacturer for reprogramming, it worked fine.

After having had two of the original Philips radio units fail with old age, I decided to replace it, and now have a new Sony CDX-G1302 radio/singleCD unit, which looks good, and works fine.

Can't check on SB at the moment to confirm the actual head unit. About 4 times over the last couple of months the CD (mp3) has stopped and gone to an egg timer and wouldn't eject. Checked it this morning, and ejected, once ejected it went in the bin, it was a mp3 compilation disc. Tried an original disc, worked. Hopefully it was just a disc that wasn't recognised, but I would have expected it to spin up, I'll give the laser a clean also with a bit of alcool, and try to find some 'puter screws that will hold the drive in...

I've bought an aftermarket stereo to fit to my lounge so I can have DAB and bluetooth. However it appears as my car has a Phillips sound system fitted the harness adapter won't work, the cause is because my car has an amplifier fitted?

Does anyone know if there is a way of by passing the amp or can it be wired to work another way?

So first off just like to say hello to everyone.

As the title suggests is it possible to convert a Citroën xsara Picasso from single din to a double din?? Iv looked over the Internet but most people buy a converter panel and they charge like £200,
And if you ask me that's a bit over the top.

So I'm hoping someone has all ready had a go at this...

Here we go then. About a month ago when I bought the car the screen worked fine. It was then parked up outside until I could get over to the UK to fetch it. Investigating a horrible occasional audio buzz, I find my front left door speaker has a 2-3inch tear in the cone.

Any recommendations for decent budget replacements? I do, albeit very rarely visit the F.Loud side of the volume when the mood/music requires it.
Are the rears the same fitment too?
