I already own a Citroen C5 Aircross but I needed something for motorway journeys I do every month to avoid stacking mileage up on the new car.

I managed to buy a 2009 plate C5 2.0HDI VTR+ and got a good deal on it, seems a good cruiser and car is running however there are too obvious issues with the car I am hoping someone can advise me...

I will be sharing this car so wondered if it was possible to prevent potential damage to the handbrake.

Is it possible that the electronic handbrake could be automatically released if the driver attempts to begin driving, say when in gear and applying gas?

Pulling my hair out a bit here. Haynes lists preferred as PSA b71 2316 sae 75w (1.9-2l) as I'm looking to do a gearbox refresh .

But searching that b71 2316 finds very little oil to purchase and most listings that look correct like total traxium gear 8/9 show b71 2330 on the label and I cannot find a picture of the gear oil showing 2316 anywhere...

The rear passenger side door on my C5 2003 estate would not unlock, but with help from Peter aspire_helen I managed to get the door panel off.

A sharp hit to the rear of the motor that was visible opened the door.

Despite my best efforts it still stays locked unless hit again.

The car only starts via the cable directly to the starter and then drives and shifts. But it doesn't show what is included. They are there. Just 2 dashes. The transmission light is on
