I'm having an issue with my c4 Picasso. It kills batteries every 2 months. If I leave it for 2 days it kills the battery. Once it's dead it won't then recharge again. It's totally knackered.

When I'm stationary and in neutral, my rev's are about 800. When I put the vehicle into 1st gear (I'm still stationary, foot still off the accelerator) the rev's go up to 1400!

Does anyone know why? It's happens when the engine is up to temperature. I can't recall if it happens when the engine is cold/still warming up.

This is the top nut that sits beneath a plastic cap on top of the metal dome of the strut top mouting. The nut secured the thread from the top of the strut.

I am not exactly certain which engine is fitted. It has addblue and apparently is a PSA engine, not the Transit engine in earlier versions of the van. I am guessing a 2.0HDI. The factors web pages agree from the registration.
