Vin No/ VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].
I am trying to locate a replacement gearbox for the above.They seem to be very thin on the ground.Primary shaft bearing has collapsed so replacement doesn't seem an option.Loads of boxes on ebay but no listings that connect them with our model.Seems odd when the car is as popular as this one.Any help appreciated.
Just to clarify,the bearing collapse has damaged the casing and there is debris in the gearing.

It might be worth checking this out , & ask the seller as breakers do have pretty good knowledge regarding cross refernce parts , you may find one frim a peugeot might fit , but ask the seller

Yeah! Thanks for your reply.Possibly have found one now in Norwich.I’m informed that on this type it is only the final drive ratio that differs slightly. I’ll update when it’s sorted.
