Hi I've just bought a megane 2009 it has a rain sensor that doesn't work (if the stalk is set time auto it does nothing)

I've removed the sensor and I've always been under the impression there should be a gel pad between the sensor and the window but there wasn't.

Am I mistaken in this or should there be a gel pad?

Where would I find the correct fuse diagrams for VIN number: VF1**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Something has happened when I changed starter motor - the wiring loom is sooooo short I suspect some wirings has broken inside the loom.
After starting the engine - I first got notice of alternator problem, then shortly parking brake problem and the engine shut off....

I am replacing the seals and piston on the rear brake caliper on my 2004 Renault Laguna MK2 1.8 petrol. My problem is I have removed the small seal that is located inside the piston on the handbrake rod and can't remember which way round it goes !!!!! The seal has a chamfer on it and I'm not sure the direction it fits on the rod.

It’s a Z/KZIG/KZ1G06 ... 2011. Diesel. Manual.
It’s 1461 cc. Guess that’s 1.5 ? Although there seems to be 1.6 ‘s as well.

Whilst jump starting the car with the assistance of a 'Helpful Friend', my attention lapsed for a mo and I didn't notice he'd attached the jump leads the wrong way round!

There was a bit of a nasty smell and we both then went to the pub. Have we killed the car or will it just have blown a fuse? I did a quick check, but they all seemed not to have...

I think I have cocked up and allowed the brake fluid reservoir to empty while bleeding the rear brakes after swapping the rear axle hard lines for flexible lines. (I blame the ridiculous location of the reservoir buried behind the cylinder head!).
After topping up the reservoir, the left rear brake bleeds OK with apparent normal brake pressure....

I have a 2002 renault clio 1.2 with a screaming alternator belt. It should be a simple job but the only problem is that my car has the air con unit that sits on top of the alternator and belt.
How do i get to the belt? will i have to remove the AC unit? or will i have to get acces elsewhere? :-D

When draining the oil, I stupidly first drained the gearbox oil - as i didnt have a manual and aimed for the obvious drain plug.
I now need of course to top up the gearbox oil.

Afternoon all,
The blowers on my Scenic Mk3 have stopped working. I noticed water in the driver's side footwell so have cleared the scuttle drains. What else do I need to check to try and get it working again.
Nothing is blowing at all from the blowers.

The radiator cooling fan on my Clio has stopped coming on when the engine gets hot.

Have checked the fuse in the panel inside the car, but don't know if a fuse or relay in the engine bay fusebox has blown.

Can photograph this fusebox if necessary.

The fan works if the + is connected directly to the battery.

Hi everyone my mecanic removed the Old engine then put back auther engine in the van wall connecting the ECU to the harness the middle plug has about 5-pin banded inside the ecu I believe this created the short burned some fuses in the circuit since then the starter not cranking you turn the keys the dashboard comes keys work for close open doors...
