Megane sport tourer

Post by ClareB »

Hi, I’ve just traded my old faithfull megane estate (2004) for a slightly younger sport tourer, now I’m trying to figure out what model I’ve got 🤪
It’s a Z/KZIG/KZ1G06 ... 2011. Diesel. Manual.
It’s 1461 cc. Guess that’s 1.5 ? Although there seems to be 1.6 ‘s as well.
Any ideas ??

Posting the VIN here might help. It will be obscured so only Forum staff can read it, but then they might be able to look it up and let you know everything about the Megan when she rolled out of the factory.

A quick Google (oo-err missus) has given these two web sites offering the VIN decoding service.

Did you post the VIN for your old car by any chance?

My 2015 1.6 dci Megane tourer has a 16 valve R9M engine with a variant code KZNA06 The engine in the 1.5 is 8 valve .
