Afternoon all,
The blowers on my Scenic Mk3 have stopped working. I noticed water in the driver's side footwell so have cleared the scuttle drains. What else do I need to check to try and get it working again.
Nothing is blowing at all from the blowers.
Thanks in advance

The electrical connector pins to the fan unit are too small and overheat . Check the multi plug for excessive heat . There is a repair plug available on ebay

Re: Scenic Mk3 Blowers not working
Sounds much like the snag i had on my mk1 scenic, dripping in the footwell on passenger side. Turns out the drains under the scuttle were blocked and the water got above the rather poorly sealed air intake up there. The water getting into a large ampage motor started to burn it out (it had nowhere to drain the water, which eventually built up enough to drip on the carpet) but surprisingly never blew a fuse. I pulled the motor out from under the dash, put an ebay motor in, drilled holes in the plastic case so that it would drain any rainwater on the footwell rubber mat rather than build up (at least i'd know when the scuttles needed clearing
) Its been fine for the last 5 years - Car is 23 years old and still going strong.
If you get the Fan out, I imagine it will be burnt out - you can put 12v across it to be sure but if its been sat in rainwater, its possibly not going to be reliable - an ebay/scrappy one is about £40
