What started as a problem with the particulate filter (first overload warning that was solved by taking the car out on the highway), has continued with a visit to the workshop to plug the machine....

Hi everyone iv got a 09 Mk2 dispatch 1.6 dohc white/grayish smoke light at idle getting heavier with engine speed.

weirdly smoke stops every now and then for 10 sec or so then starts again.

Compression test showing 310psi at cylinder 124 with 3 having slightly lower 300psi

Leak off test all 4 injectors returned about the same (1 min idle and 1...

It ran fine for a couple of days but has now flagged up with P2563 - too much turbo

i'm having a problem with my fans not working, i had an issue when i bought the car and sent it back for a new resistor/ blower motor control module. it worked fine till recently and it was stuck on hot, blowing on the lowest setting.

Posted twice in a month, but am solving the problems slowly.

Have a problem I would hope someone can else has been through or has some advise on.

The black LHM pump (under the bonnet on left) appears to be occasionally dripping LHM down into the alternator. Have noticed the occasional smell in the cab and can see where the problem is....
