So is every one on here and not on the CCC site? My Cx25 Gti Auto is sat on my driveway and not moving :( . Insert key and turn. You can hear fuel pump energise :) but nothing from starter motor :?: .Have disconnected power lead and connected red direct to + terminal with no effect....... sometimes. Other times this will turn the starter over and...

I've done something potentially disasterous but... a life without risk isn't much of a life I suppose! And at the very least, I'm now a CX owner - something I've wanted to be my whole life.

I've bought a 1985 Series 1 Prestige, in not such a good shape. But... all the essentials appear to be there. Friend of mine is going to be fixing...

Well... the beast has arrived (1985 Series 1 Prestige). Annoyingly with no keys and a damaged ignition barrel.

Does anyone know where I might be able to bag a replacement lock set?

In other news, I found a replacement rear side window... so at least the squirrels can't get in ;-)

Hi All,

does anyone have any ideas about where i might be able to get a replacement plip for my DTR T2? The central locking works perfectly with the key, and there is clearly the little knobble on the roof (by the interior light) to house the reciever.

Any thoughts gratefully received...

In removing part of the headlining on my cx, a couple of the plastic clips have broken taking the little circular bit that retains them with it.
Does anyone know where to get these, and the plastic plugs too?

I doubt it'll ever sell at that price of £599! :o Admittedly there is nothing else out there is you wanted a S/S System for a CX - looking at my Maikonics Literature they were originally £437.50.

A rare thing though, and it's one of three (possibly four) that I know are left to survive. We've got one, FBAT has...

Just spotted this late H Reg, CX DTR Turbo 2 Safari that is advertised for sale on the CCC Forum.

Thought I'd post this on here first to see if anyone is interested before putting it on ebay. It's a 1990 Citroen CX DTR Turbo2. MOT until October 4th, tax until September 30th.
i have decided to sell it after a short time so that i can concentrate...

Is anyone able to supply me with a wiring diagram for a 1983 CX Pallas IE Auto (2347cc) please?

Mine needs some work and the haynes manual doesn't represent whats under the bonnet.

I'm after GTi T2 driveshafts for project 2 preferably new.

AEP regularly have ones for DTR wondering if could possibly be the same :?: :?: if not does any body have part number :?: AEP don't know without it.

I have been asked to cast another batch of door mirror internals for the MK2 CX.

These replace all the parts that are known to corrode or snap and make the mirror assemblies much more durable as I use an alloy that does not corrode and is more malleable than the cheap, nasty items that Citroen originally used.

Just spotted this CX GTi Turbo 2 on eBay that's just gone on at a classified price of £3,750! Link .

There is a bit of history behind E500, in that it was the last CX that Roger Bradford sold, here's a pic of it then with Mille Miglia wheels:

It later lingered around on eBay for a good while after the chap Roger sold it to decided to sell, and...

Quick, heretical question... While I love my CX (DTR Turbo2), I really miss the practicality of my XMs of yore... It seems insane to me that when I needed to pick up a piece of funiture I had to borrow my mate's Polo because there was no way it was getting into the CX...

I'm thinking of respraying my CX to what I think is Mallard Green.

I have seen a Xantia estate in my area a few times thats a luvly green I'm guessing thats what it is.

Can somebody out post a pic if they have a Mallard Green Cit?

Ive just been outside attempting to ready the cx for its MOT on tuesday.
One of the previous fails was the indicator switch.

When the main lights are on the right hand indicator light stays on, as do the right hand indicators!

Ive had the switches apart and everything seems hunky dory inside.
Does anyone have any idea where i should be looking?...

Hi everyone, I'm attempting to start this CX auto that has been sat for around 8 years. The car has been in a dry garage all this time and has was looked after by an enthusiast during it's time on the road. I'm planning to temporarily kill the ignition and build up some oil pressure by turning the engine over in short bursts. Hopefully after that...
