Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Hi, whilst changing the brake pads on my daughters ds4 I noticed a small leak and tracked it to a small hole about 5mm perfect circle inside the area arrowed in pic. it is on the roof of that section should it be there? or should there be a plug of some kind in it, or its it damaged some how? Rear Wash/Wipe Not Working

Hi all,

I have a 2016 DS3, the washer for both the front & rear has stopped working, it's not a blockage it's definitely the pump not working. I checked the 10A fuse in position F3 in the under bonnet fuse box, it was blown so I changed it but still nothing. I tried a new washer pump, still nothing.

Anything else worth checking?

The correct procedure is below. You can't drain the torque converter fully - the capacity is 7 litres - 4 litres remains in the torque converter, meaning you can only really change 3 litres at a time - so you need to do at least 3 flushes over a few months to get as near a full change of oil as you can.

Multiplexed additive pump DS5

Hi guys,

A friend of mine has a Citroen DS5 2015 2.0 hdi. We put a lexia on his car and it showed up an error U0118 87 which means that is a communication error with the multiplexed additive pump. What do you think? It’s a communication error or it can be the pump?

We think maybe the can bus is frozen, because is freezing outside, like -5 -10 celsius

Not sure what the freeze point of electricity is :lol:

DS5 - rear spoiler mounting

I own a ds5 of 2015 since a couple days and I found some minor issues to fix in the near future.

I recognized that the rear spoiler was a bit loose on the outside, even tough the screws were tightened properly. After disassembling the spoiler I found out that there are brackets on the left and right to hold the spoiler in place, but both...

Dear All,

hope someone can help?

whilst washing my DS7 with a jet wash when I jet washed around the handle on the front passenger side the doors locked, I stopped spraying think what just happened and sprayed again and the doors unlocked?

I checked my keys but I had left them in my house about 18ft away form the car.

My VW ID.3 has movement sensors in the key fob which shut down communication with the car when just lying on the table in the house

However I still put both DS7 and ID.3 in a Faraday pouch.
Yes, that's what I was referring to by some manufacturers, notably Mercedes, BMW and Audi to name a few and of course VW being part of the one of these...

Hi, I'm hoping someone might be able to give some advice. My daughter's DS4 heater fans have started working intermediately, can be working fine then stop and start again an hour later. Wheels are shot

My wheels are completely knackered after many run-ins with high granite curbs and the occasional bump over them. I've been to a specialist repairer but he says they are way too bad.
So, cost of new ones is steep but can't keep on with my existing ones as they are shot to the extent of not having a good tyre seal and a resultant air loss.

Well I found some lovely alloys on Alibaba at less than £75 each direct from the factory. Problem is that the total cost came out to around £475 as the carriage charges bumped things up a lot. Add on import duty and VAT and it's a no-go.
However, I have ordered some vinyl wrap to do the spoke faces in 3d high gloss white and the spoke edging in 3d...

Chilly this morning but not below 0 degrees, no frost, no scraping. Had to drive over to Oxford so leapt in the car and slung coat,hat and gloves on drivers seat. Heated seats on and set off After 8 minutes nice warm bum but noticed even thought the Temp gauge was now showing 90 degrees no heat from the heater.

Both my C5s had similar issues. It was mostly the passenger side that would be max temp with no chance of altering it. Had to drive almost all the way to Cambridge in torrential rain with the windows open. Naturally all was well on the return journey.
I put it down to the control of the heater/blower flaps going on strike...

Nothing.

Your car can't do anything that it wasn't fitted with. Most options you have fitted at factory like driver aids and functions are can be activated or deactivated from the Connected Nav system.

For example you can't make the tailgate on a DS7 into an electrically opening and closing one unless you have that specific tailgate fitted along...

DS7 Warm up time

I noticed a couple of days ago for the first time that the car seems to take an inordinate length of time to warm up.

When it was freezing it took a full 10 minutes driving to get to 90 degrees. Even today from 9 degrees outside it took 7 minutes to get to 90 degrees.

Hi guys, does anyone on here have access to a copy of the workshop manual for the 2013 ds4? I'm thinking i need to change my inner tie rods on my steering and would like to have a look at a diagram if possible. Also does anyone have any tips for taking the annoying plastic covers off the bottom of the engine bay. Cheers

Hi, does anyone have diagram explaining fuse box in DS7 Crossback Performance 2018? Im doing hotwire for dash cam and need connect 3 wires :
+ (acc) to constant 12v,
+ (b+) connect to 12v after ignition on,
- (ground) is easy - attached to naked metal chassis with screw.
Dont know where to plug those 2 red mini fuse cables.
Camera i mounted is...

I don't have the details for the DS7, so you'll have to use trial and error:

On my X7 I used:
The heated seats fuse for the permanent live (G37)
The BSI F4 10A fuse for Electrochrome Mirrors / Auto Gearbox for the ignition switched live.

These fuses may be different on your DS7, bnut have a read through the handbook and see if you can identify...

Radiator fan and internal blower not working

Good morning I was driving Along fine then an engine fault message come up on the Dashboard I got it checked and it says no communication to radiator fan I’ve had the fan checked and the resistor both Working fine, Since the fault appeared on the dashboard the internal fan has stopped working as well any ideas

Do you mean the internal cabin blower motor - as in in turning the fan speed up on the climate panel does not operate the blower motor? What about the rest of the Climate control functions - so you have lights on and can you adjust the temperature settings? It may be that the blower control module has gone.
