Low particle filter DS5 HYBRID

Post by JINETE »

Very good ladies and gentlemen, my DS5 HYBRID, tells me low particle filter; my question is whether he carries a black bag as an additive, is that correct ?
I'd like to know where the bag is.

I believe you have an additive tank not a pouch.

With a tank system, you only need to top it up. You can buy the fluid (but it must be the correct type) which comes in 1 litre or 3 litre containers. You can buy just the fluid or the filling kits. The 'kits' come with the filling tubes and gravity feed basket etc., that you need to fill the tank.

But more importantly, you must reset the engine ECU additive counter after topping it up. If you don't do that the ECU will not know you have topped it up as the system is not physically measured - only estimated. You will need a proper diagnostic tool to do that like Diagbox.
