Some bar-steward driving a light coloured vehicle decided to get intimate with the front wing of our maroon Megane, probably when trying to park next to us. The afore mentioned bar-steward thought it clever to leg it without owning up to their inadequate driving skills.
So now I need a new off side wing, question is though, insurance claim or not?...

The heater matrix needs replacing on my 1992 clio RT. I cant afford to have it done by a pro, so I'm going to give it a go myself. This may sound like im a bit crazy but im generally very good at things like this.
I am aware I will need to remove the whole dash, My haynes manual says this wont be a problem as long as I make notes on how i take it...

I have just bought a V6 Espace Auto, but found it to have a problem when at between 25-40 mph, it appears to be indecisive about whether or not it needs to be in 2nd or 3rd. I rang the vendor who tells me that the box ecu was recently replaced. Is it possible that I have the wrong ecu? Can I reprogram the ecu or do I have to find the correct ecu....

hello all. i have now owned my 2.0 rt laguna now for 2 years and has been a good car to drive but i have had this knocking coming from the front of the car since i have owned it and now i think it's time to fix problem.i have changed the anti roll bar drop link and lower ball joint but still have knocking there when i hit a bump any help here much...

My friend has a Laguna v6 24v- 98. Clutch needs replacing - any ideas how much the clutch is and how big a job it is?
I understand that the clutch is not very strong on these, how much extra would a uprated clutch be?

is it okay to pressure bleed abs systems with a gunsons eezee-bleed, i have a 98 scenic and in the haynes manual it says you shouldnt pressure bleed abs systems? is this right?

Does anyone know how easy / not it is to remove a drivers side air bag on a kangoo?. my fathers got one and it appears to be making a annoying vibrating sound from that particular area (horn switch etc), just wondered how easy it would be to remove and clean etc.

Lifted the handbrake this morning and it went really loose. It feels as though it still has some tension at the very top. Went over a large pothole last night (coincidence!!). Any suggestions how to repair or find out if it has snapped.

Both do not work. Have checked fuses and all OK. Switch in dashboard lights up when pressed and I can hear heated rear window relay switch engaging. This did coincide with heater blower motor breaking. Any ideas?

I dont think it is the motor as sometimes it will burst into life

The heater on my '95 clio oasis turns itself on and off, that adjusting the temperature knob sometimes switches it back on other times it won't work at all. Any ideas what the prob could be with this intermittent fault.

i have a p reg megane - it wouldnt start it is with an auto electrician who trced the fault to the ecu. i have found an ecu from a breaker with matching numbers to mine. can i fit this or do i have to pay dealer price for a new one ?

I'm venturing out of my more usual VW forum here.......!
My girlfriends Clio R-reg, 1.2 biaritz, not sure which engine code. It has a really bad misfire on cylinder 3 - if i pull the HT it makes no difference. Intermittantly i can see a big orange spark inside what i figure is a 'coil pack' and next to the HT for cyl.3.
Is this the coil?...

I have a 1994 Laguna RT. On heater setting 1 with the temperature on full heat,the air is warm but obviously takes hours to heat the car. Setting on 2,3 or 4 the air goes cold in a matter of seconds. Can anyone help before the big freeze comes !!

I am still having problems with the teperature gauge. I discovered that it goes up as soon as I switch somthing electrical, such as lights, fan or even the AC. I tend to think about somthing to do with the relay, but not sure. Any ideas?
PS. The cooling system works perfectly now that I changed the thermostat.
