Hey
Do anyone know how the INFRA- RED Thing on the roof of a Clio Mk1 1992 1.4rt, There is i thing either 4 or 5 wires coming out of it, Where those wires go, And what they do.
because i want to put it in a basic Clio ie 1.2rn 1996

Check if it is six wires.

Without the engine prefix and manufacture date it is not absolutely certain but I am reasonably sure it is as follows (wiring colours are not given) :
1. Infra-red remote control earth
2. Central locking lock control
3. Alarm close information
4. Central locking unlock control
5. Alarm open information
6. + Before ignition infra-red remote control (positive feed)
If the terminals are not numbered you can test for ground and that will be number 1

Hey What does open alarm and close alarm mean and which one is the immobilise.
And how would i wire it in

The immobiliser is likely operated by a separate decoder unit. If you give me the manufacture date and engine prefix (vehicle number too if poss)I can be more precise. Open and close alarm is basically setting and unsetting.
