Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

I have a problem with my C5, when i do a kickdown, the check engine light comes on with the message “Engine fault: repair needed”. The same happens when I’m driving on the highway or when I overtake somebody. When this happens, the car stops pulling, I need to turn of the engine and back on for the car to pull again, till the check engine light...

I visited the Citroen Car Club National Rally yesterday (Saturday) at Abbots Ripton (just north of Huntingdon) after a busy and wet morning at parkrun...

A lovely location but out in the back of beyond...

I was quite shocked at the low numbers attending...

The show is celebrating 40 years of the BX and there's some very tasty examples...

CCC North West Group have arranged a day at the Lakeland Motor Museum on Saturday 9th September, for those who wish to stay over for the weekend, the local classic car club have a 'Drive it Day' on Sunday 10th September, which I've been told we're welcome to join.

Some of are driving up on Friday, we are meeting up at Forton Services (northbound side) about 10am before heading further north to tackle the Hardknott pass......

Anybody is welcome to join us, at either the pass or on the way north. We will be meeting outside Fell Foot Farm which is the start of the pass at about 2pm, if anybody wants to join...

As a social gathering of Citroenistes it's really quite pleasant &, as I've mentioned before, I've learned that the enjoyment to be had increases exponentially with the number of people you know/meet BUT it's the annual national meeting of club for the products of a major car manuafacturer, so shouldn't one's expectations be greater?

A staple event for the South West classic car calendar. As with previous years we’ve a Citroen Car Club stand. This year focusing on small 70s/80s French hatchbacks. This year we are showing an LN, LNA, Visa and AX. On the Saturday evening we will be heading out for bite to eat in a local pub or restaurant, you'd be welcome to join us.

I've just noticed that the DSM rally at Little Horwood is on this weekend, I haven't been for a number of years but might dig out the old girl and pay a visit if the weather is good, it's usually a decent event.

I have signed up for this event after the amazing trip in 2015 and some of you may have seen my Club XM Forum blog!

It was a good day out, the little boy enjoyed running around like a lunatic, I had to keep reeling him back in. It would have been even better if we'd arrived a bit earlier and I'd had the courage to get myself a test drive in a Tesla... :twisted: I had all the paperwork to do test drives filled out and handed over but I chickened out! :(
