Re: Citroen C5 2009 EGR valve
We really need the VIN, not all the 1.6 diesels have a pump in the tank, just a sender gauge.

Try to post the VIN number soon as possible, but the engine code is 9HZ

That will be a 1.6 HDi 110 particle emission filter with (DV6TED4) engine - and these do not have a pump in the fuel tank - just a sender.

Then? I still don’t know how to bleed the fuel lines.

Re: Citroen C5 2009 EGR valve
I know that there is a screw on the top op the fuel filter, but so I have to pump, and then open the screw?
Or open the screw first and then pump til it’s coming clear fuel from the pipe on the fuel filter?

Re: Citroen C5 2009 EGR valve
Follow the procedure here for bleeding (illustrated) - this is what you need to do if you were changing the fuel filter on this engine specifically:

You will need some of the tools shown.

Re: Citroen C5 2009 EGR valve
Find this little plug under the EGR , the fuels lines is going in to this. Old EGR valve melted this part. Someone know what this is for?

Re: Citroen C5 2009 EGR valve
If it's the 5 pin black plug then it's the EGR solenoid valve plug - controls the solenoid and throttle motor commands etc.

Re: Citroen C5 2009 EGR valve
Don’t know how many pins it is, but when I run diagnostic, it’s no fault codes about that. Only something about glow plugs. Still not possible to start the car

Re: Citroen C5 2009 EGR valve
This is the fuel rail pressure sensor. Weird that the diagnostic dosent show this problem. Can someone help me with the oem part number for this part?

Re: Citroen C5 2009 EGR valve
The EGR won't be near the rail - the rail fuel pressure sensor is on the end of the rail here on the right hand side - item (1)
Your photo is hard to identify what you are looking at as it's too close in.
Citroen only sell the complete rail with sensor.

Re: Citroen C5 2009 EGR valve
The part for the fuel rail (with sensor) is 1570G2:
You can get the sensors on their own from aftermarket suppliers.
