Due to excessive server loading caused by some badly behaved 'bots' (automated content collectors), I have changed the anti-ddos settings on the site to be much more aggressive.

This has had the desired effect of reducing the server loading from 100% to about 10% (the other 90% was coming from just 8 IP addresses located in China).

Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

GPS time sync

Peugeot 308 SW with RNEG unit. I checked the synchronise time with GPS checkbox in the time adjust menu.

As far as I could find out this is supposed to sync just the minutes, while the date and the hours have to always be adjusted manually.

Anyway, today at 7:30 am the clock was showing 7:28. I opened up the menu and the GPS sync was still...

Afternoon all. I'm new here so hoping I am posting in the correct forum. 2 things really which I hope are simple. I need to know how to replace the bulb in the faulty temperature display as per attachment. Also a third of the panel of the sat nav seems faint, sometimes it's black but sometimes faded. Loose connection possibly?

You can try wiggling the 3 connectors for the aircon control panel, but I think you might find the display is borked. The rotary knobs are normally what go on these - one or the other of them won't turn the temp up or down properly.
Here's the diagrams for removal of the unit so you can check the connectors.

I have the 1.6hdi vtr+nav tourer 59 plate and the radio loses time, if left for 24 hours it will lose 30 mins. i have tried it with sync with gps but it can take a while for the gps to connect and it wont sync anyway,, it is always a 15 min shift whole sync gps is ticked and i try to adjust time. Any ideas before i put a bit tape over the screen...

Hi, yes have carried out all the correct procedures but I think it's just dead unfortunately, it doesn't respond on diagbox either so think its completely had it. Finding a replacement is just about impossible and the ones I've found are expensive. Do you know if it would be possible to fit an RNEG unit in its place and still have a functional...

When I was watching some YT videos I found one with Citroen C5 x7, where someone was adding custom Car Audio to original RNEG radio. What caught my eye - trip computer on RNEG! And my question - is it possible to activate it by Diagbox?

It's also important to ensure the correct C3 model was selected. For 2011 it should be the C3 (A51). If you've selected the C3 , C3 II or other then you may have problems.

Yeah we also tried that, we tried all of the C3 models apart from the Pluriel just to make sure we weren't trying the wrong model, but no luck. Seems to be a more deep-rooted...

the car i now have is 2012 1.6e hdi and reverse camera installed aerial base replaced for dab and performs very well

Hi I have a citroen ds3 cabrio with the myway audio system fited. I had a bump in it and had it in the garage for repair. On collection of my vehicle the screen is only showing coloured lines no display and the mechanic doesn't know what the problem is as he never touched it. The air con was replaced so not sure if that had anything to do with it....

Ok, I understand - but you also have to appreciate that an impact can have consequences for electronic control units and sensitive electronics that are crammed into these cars. You have anywhere up to 20 ECUs scattered about the vehicle and any impact can damage these - it's another reason why the insurance company will tend to write off cars more...

When I try and bluetooth my phone it asks for a code to connect-any ideas?

Hi! My navigation system it's showing me the next values for the SCDB speedcams:
- for 20 mph - 19 mph
- for 30 mph - 25 mph
- for 40 mph - 37 mph
- for 70 mph - 56 mph

I've also looked into the LWD format with those tools and gave up as the files have checksums so any alteration and they won't compile. Some uf us were trying ti amend the radar zones and add personalised speed traps - but the failed to work so we resigned ourselves that without the appropriate software we can't amend them.

Hi guys! I noticed yesterday that the data on the display is 24.08.2099. I reset the data but when I check the gps syncronisitation box it goes back to 24.08.2099. Today I reset the system to factory settings but the problem persists, today I'm on 25.08.2099. Does anyone have any solution for this?

Oh yes always (complicated somewhat with the battery being in the boot on my C5!)! I only noticed it as I have never had to do it before when disconnecting the battery - although maybe before I have left the car longer before driving it which has given the unit the time to initialise fully.

Marc i do have the correct info only on the SD card, checked with your sticky and exactly the same so got that bit right :)

Hi

The MyWay system you have does not support Bluetooth Streaming - only the telephone and address book synchronising.

The CD does support playing MP3 CDs - so you can cram quite a few MP3 tracks onto a single CD - just make sure you format it as an MP3 CD when creating it. You can get a hundred plus tracks on depending on size and bit rate.

I'm having problems with a RNEG unit in my C5 2012. The original headunit suffered from restarting issue. So I decided to swap it for another RNEG (MyWay). Now it doesn't restart, it works fine, bur on dash display it says Zone not mapped , whereas on the central 7 display map info is correctly displayed.

Note that pressing the MUSIC button down for a long press engages management of the sorting of MP3 / WMA files / Updates the radio stations. So you might want to switch to MP3 source first and then try holding that down to see if it helps by re-indexing the playlists.

It's very easy to get confused with the marque naming conventions!
Navidrive RT4 and Navidrive RT5 are the same telematic units, except that RT5 has the bluetooth capability. Soon dropped in favour of MyWay (RNEG), then eMyWay or RT6 or RNEG2!
Then Navidrive 3D or NG4 - and all these without the Peugeot names!
