This is the RT3 unit and was made by Magneti Marelli
The RT3 was available in a few different hardware versions, the later ones supporting MP3 playback. These units had an optical connection to the Display Screen.

Usually standard equipment unless another system is specified as an option. There are Single & Dual Tuner versions. RD45 features over the RD4: The RD45 has USB connectivity & integrated Bluetooth module supporting Phone & Audio Streaming.

I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look...

I am trying to disassemble this unit to repair a button and some light bulbs. Disassembly is quite simple, but I got stuck in one part of the process.

The volume button (potentiometer) prevents the card from being removed (as you can see in the video). The board is completely loose but, because of the volume button, it doesn't come...

This is just a guess, but surely, I would of thought the volume button would just pull off like most other units? I don't know this for sure, but if you think about it they would never of been able to assemble this in the first place unless the button just pushed on after the board was first fitted on the inside, as there is no way for the button...

I've brought the module and the mic I've also used diagbox to enable the hands free option.

Here's my problem...... I can't find the plug for the module on top of the glove box?

I would have thought all the looms were the same.

The looms are not all the same. They only supply the correct one for the equipment ordered and especially with the fascia harnesses. I can tell you that on the MK I 508 there are a total of 21 different fascia harnesses.....

The dealer can recommend and provide an accessory kit for bluetooth.

No you have a SMEG variant, either a SMEG, SMEG + or SMEG iV2 variant (which was the last of the SMEG range). The NAC connected systems did not come out until a few years later IIRC.

There's not much support here for Renault I'm afraid, but it surely can't be that difficult?

Generally make sure it is on the radio and either press and hold the TUNER button until it beeps and it will search for and store the stations it finds.

Ok, so you need to change the following: For items listed as 'Missing' on your screen shots (Heating Ventilation / Under Inflation Detection), see if you can change these to 'Absent'. I have to replace the loud speakers in my C5 X7 2010. I guess that the membrane is torn, especially on the rear doors speakers. I'm not sure, but it seems that it's more complicated than to remove the grille covering the speaker. please let me know how to dismantle it.

In order to remove the speakers, you'll need to remove the door handle trim, disconnect the electric connectors, ditto for the grab handle trim in order to access the 2 bolts, remove those, then the door control switch for the windows, under door puddle lights, and unclip the door card surround - using trim removal tools.

Hi everyone, I've got some issues with reception on my OH's car. There's an aftermarket radio in as the original didn't work (previous owner informed us of this). Are there any problems that I need to be aware of to sort out reception. P.S I've checked the connection on the back and all seems fine.

Have recently bought a 2006 C3 decided to buy an original Blaupunt CD changer to put in place of the centre cubby and stupid me expected it to plug in and play 😂 seems that the CD changer option has to be activated in Lexia is a RD4 head unit, anyone know of anywhere that can activate this other than main dealer in Newcastle upon Tyne area?...

The car make year is 2006 and the head unit make year is 2008, I detached the head unit and it have a label on it that is was made in 2008. I guess the previous owner changed it since he wanted an MP3 option. Browsing the service history indicates that the 2008 head unit was configured at 2010. The problem is that the volume bars are not displayed...

I took a plunge and bought a C5 tourer on the first of Jan. It's the car trusted reviews used in 09 for there review on their site for the 2.7l v6.

The car has the hifi pack so the amp fitted, HDD type head unit and the nav screen which works (sorry I'll look the model no up once I'm off this train), however there is no sound at all out of...

So what you are saying is that the Head Unit has been replaced for an identical RT4 (the RT3 was only fitted to the previous MK II) unit - or the amplifier was - after some USB gadget fried the electrics?
