Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Hi, my Peugeot 206 1.4hdi consumes about 6L/100km combined (advertised 4,3L/100km). My version is without oxygen sensor(lambda) and MAP sensor, only MAF. Recently changed oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, egr blocked and turned off in software. Only faulty codes are: p0500

I look after my 92 year old nieghbours 2005 206, last year he done 273 miles, more than usual as typically it's under 250 miles a year!

Does the rocker cover also contain an oil catch can/strainer as well as the pvc valve/diaphragm?

Also, can the actual pcv diaphragm be replaced on its own? (the round cap on covering this part doesn't seem to be removable??), instead of replacing the whole rocker cover?

Hallo sorry to ask, i know topic says c4.
I have a peugeot 5008 from 2017 new model. Same problem only heat on the drive side, its at LHD car..
When switcing to cold i the air flow is the same on both went i center dashboard, but with hot its most the left side.
Do eny 1 have a picture of the air vent flaps and so on.

I don't know the engine but those cam caps look individual parts, i.e. you have 12 in all. The sequence suggests you tight one side then the other. This would stop the cam from snagging if there was any play. I'm basing my knowledge on old motorbikes. This would be done via a professional level diagnostic tool, Diagbox in the case of PSA vehicles, but as you have a Ford Mondeo listed in your profile, that would not work in your case. You would need a diagnostic tool capable of this function for Ford vehicles.

I got a misfire on starting up. I read the codes: P1336, P1337, and P1338.
These seem to point to coil pack/plugs and camshaft/crank sensor as I understand it.

Bypassed the immobilizer in the EUC, I did this a while ago. Have since tried to code new keys without success.

PP2000 write attempt fails no matter how many times I try and no matter what transponder I try with (ID-46).

This shouldn't happen, but ............ it does .............

The secondary (safety catch) is spring loaded - not mechanically engaged like the old type - and the spring gets lazy so it does not always come across far enough, leaving the bonnet liable to come 'loose'.

It is like this because of a failure with the primary catch which is the hook...

Hello all, I've got a 1007 1.6sport and I'm fed up with the gearbox faults, so my question is thus. The version of 1007 I've got is the tu5jp4 nfu wich I think is a common engine amongst psa. I was thinking a box from c2 or 206 or similar but not sure if they bolt up, also has the 1.6 and 1.4 variants use the same Box or not?

The 1007 is virtually identical to the Citroen C2 and C3 platforms.
The 1007 Sensodrive has a modified version of the MA5 manual gearbox, so, theoretically, it could be converted back to a manual transmission. So there is no need to go looking for another gearbox.
IMHO your best bet it to obtain a wrecked, manual, C3 (they are more common than...

I have just bought a 2014 5008 1.6Hdi. I got an error with DPF. Have changed DPF, reset in Diagbox. However, engine management light still coming on with code U0140 in the engine ECU. BSI ECU has errors with communicating with various ECUs. Could the BSI errors be causing the engine managment light to come on or is it ONLY engine ECU errors...

You really need to have the fault codes from the ECU to determine what caused the limp mode, it could have been under-boost or over-boost, or something else.

I doubt that the problem is a nearly failed turbo.

Well, now i have a fuel drip coming from the rear end of the fuel pump. Between the aluminium body and the big black steel ring on the end of the pump. I,m trying to find a diagram for the pump, where is there one ?.
And is it an easy job to do or a pain ?. Is there a gasket or o-ring involved , Funny how its only started leaking in very cold...

I have a Peugeot 3008 2010 and the sat nav started saying I was miles from where I was so I was told to do a system reboot and factory reset since doing this my sat nav is displaying a green screen with red arrow says zone not mapped and compass is pointing north constantly can anyone help me please.

The car, a 2.2 HDi ran perfect for 2-3 km, then jerked under acceleration and a “Engine failure STOP”message.
Stopped, towed it home and after that it did not start again.
Codes:
P0087 - Fuel pressure low.
P0094 - Small fuel leak.
P3024 - Pressure regulator, malfunction?

I received my Peugeot 2008 (2022 model) on 01/02/2022.

It had its first service, which was an interim service, on 28/01/2023 (7,843 miles).

It is now late 2023 and I believe the second service is due by 01/02/2024.

It is currently at around 15,500 miles.

I am finding it difficult to find the car's service schedule.

Peugeot Allure 2008 Year 2020.
Can I leave my battery terminals connected while using a charger.
Also do I have to use a charger while I am rewinding back brake calipers for replacing the brake pads.

Most modern 'smart' chargers/maintainers are designed to be used whilst the battery is still in circuit. If its a modern smart charger then i have no problem charging in circuit. I wouldn't use old style on or off ones anymore.
If your batter is in decent shape there should be no need for battery support for winding callipers back.

I've got a Peugeot 306 1.4 petrol, 2001, with absolutely no keys.
Went to a dealer, they said it would have costed about hundred euros but they run out of transmitter keys, so they cannot help. They can give me a key code though if I come with all the documents to them. Would that help at all?

Blower heater has been intermittent for roughly a year,
Mostly its ok(sometimes with a little bang on the facial) it kick in,
Sometimes it doesn't I leave it on when driving then at some point it kicks in,
