Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Hello I have been looking on here for a long time but never joined

I run among other vehicles a 53 plate C15 I had one before and did 340k on the original box and engine
My C15 is a working van as part of my transport company doing 700 -1500 miles a week As far as I know I am the only one left around doing proper distance work in one .

Hi to all I'm Dave and have a major tale of woe.
My sons c3 HDi 16v wouldn't start the other day so he got relayed home from college and I got to work with my Lexia. Only fault was BSI communication fault to steering column switch so we got another module and plugged in still no joy. Old fella says check 20amp micro fuse.
This had blown changed...

That's a lovely XM you have there and a great baptism of fire for you :lol:

I've had three XMs myself. one TCT and two V6s. Loved them but sadly my physical attributes do not afford me any comfort in an XM. You could easily sit two of me on the driver's seat!

Hence I'm happier in a Xantia and a C1...

Even the C1 is a bit too big...

Hello folks. I have just joined FCF after 'lurking' for many years. Im a 56 year old HGV driver (32yrs) currently driving a 510bhp DAF. hi all and thank you for letting me join, I have just bought a 2002 2.0 hdi c5 with a few faults, but I would like to say that the car is absolutely brill in the comfort area and nice and big, but my main problem is when driving for about 7/15 miles it can start to cut out when at lights and struggle to start if it does, second is if I put my foot...

If disconnecting the MaF makes no difference, then there is a problem in itself.

Never fit a cheap one, only originals last so don't waste your money on cheap in this case.

It really needs to be put on a LEXIA, guess work is expensive. Have it diagnosed before you start swapping parts out.

Greetings all,

Thought I should make an account, as I picked up an old 405 1.9td to replace my much loved e34 after an argument with a ditch.

I'll leave the car talk out of this post and pop in over in the peugeot forum as I had a followup question or two - but, said car very quickly developed head gasket problems and I was saved much pain owing...

Whilst the car was stripped down for it's new coat of paint a liberal dose of the local equivalent to waxoyl was applied and I have been busy since coating all rubbers with Gummi Pflege which I have found an excellent restorer/preservative on...
