newbie with a diesel van .

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

newbie with a diesel van .

Unread post by Madcat »

I'm madcat and I bought a Citroen Dispatch 1.9 diesel van . It's 2004 vintage so new for me . Bought to replace a Berlingo called Satan .

All the fancy electronics baffle me .

I've owned multiple 2cvs , Dyanes and a couple of ratty DS cars including a very battered Safari Estate .

Other bad habits include restoring a 1937 narrow boat .

I have a healthy interest in real ale , leaving the van at home gives me a chance to have some (fairly)innocent fun.
I'm mad as a box of frogs and totally unrepentant . Growing old disgracefully.

Hello Madcat. I believe I may have met you on Tuesday, when I was in the area helping my Mum with her narrow boat.

Hi Hell Razor5543 , I do indeed know your Mum .

Hi Marc , I'm hoping this forum will help me catch up with the 21st century and all the eco stuff that modern diesels seem to have.

You'll have to pop into the Pickled Egg from time to time, The FCF's own virtual local.

Was going to say you'll fit in v. well - but seem to be too late for such preliminaries.
