I don't have knowledge of the Peugeot, but the issue of a loose connection is known with several makes of car.
I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look...

Have been in hospital for the last few weeks, diagnosed with prostate cancer, home now for long term treatment but may not be much contact. :(

I have 23 plate Berlingo van which has been involved in minor bump , its drivable but you are unable to open the passenger door, the flapping bumper & a wonky headlight probably mean the vehicle should not be on road ?

The bodyshop are a bit unless & are unable to start the repair without a bumper is...

Yes, very sorry to hear that - CCTV cameras are very hit & miss. My vehicle was 'grinded' after somebody either tried to enter or leave a parking bay next to me at Aldi - Totally scraped down the doors and rear wheel arch. Police checked the CCTV cameras at the store next to Aldi and unfortunately they had no evidence of the damage being caused...

I bought some LED encapsulated 501 side light bulbs off ebay.

They fitted well and are virtually identical in size and shape.

However, on the camper van ( Ducato ) they threw a bulb failure warning light. On the Vitara they did not. So much for being Canbus error free. They do give a good...

Without naming names, I had two sets of well known and respected brands of tyres on my CX that managed in one case 8,000 klms (5000 miles approx) from brand new to worn out which were replaced by another well known brand that made the car so unstable my wife wouldn't drive it above 60 kph.

(Might have posted this before) This is the Gloucester I found when I first moved to the county back in 1965, all gone now just a pedestrianised desert of charity shops etc.
Note the car transporters with new Austins, Hillmans Vauxhalls and even the Nash Metropolitans built by Austin.

My gas central heating boiler is 13 years old and gave me some grief at Christmas a couple of years ago, so I've been thinking of a replacement,.

Have you delved into the break-even costs/calculations, or is it just not worth bothering at that price ?
Even with 'free' electricity, that would seem quite a premium over gas etc.

Recent Visit to Portugal I well we hired a car, the Agent gave me a VW T Cross, mmmmm can't get away from this brand not even on holibobs.
Off we went enjoying the vile sound of the 3 cylinder VW engine, shades on, wind in my hair (well what's left of it) Tom Tom babbling strange names to us (it doesn't really do Portuguese road names very well)....

Well apologies straight away for going off-category already but my crop of first cars doesn't include a single French Car.

It does include 2 with Hydrolastic suspension though! Join in with your own pics, could turn out to be an interesting trip down memory lane. Of course if you look at the crop I have put up, they do date me pretty accurately....

I have been using Wynns adblue additive in my car, but because I didn't know exactly how much was in the tank to start with I decided to drain the tank this time when the 1st low warning came on,
The tank contained 5 litres of adblue with unknown percentage of wynns in it. I then filled...

Just called in to see what is happening in here. Still going in my '01 Xsara. Mustn't be many of us left on the road at this stage. Just hit 215k. Engine still going strong, but the body is a different story.

Sills are continually a headache at MOT time and rear arches are bubbling rust too. Looks like the end is nigh for it if it needs major...

Hi all, I have put this here as it's not a French car............. It's a German Opel Corsa!
