Spent a good few years posting lots when i first found the forum, quite active in my posts not just regarding my own problems and then i had a good few years of trouble free Citroens, ( yes they do behave sometimes ) but having found the forum again, okay i needed help, but i found myself...

Hi Guys. Not been doing much this last few days except watching TV. Every few minutes there's an advert for just eat . The ads are fairly poorly made but on all the time. Fried food you only have to walk to the door for can't be a good thing and most take away food is fried and all of it seems to be unhealthy. Maybe Im just old and grumpy!

Well, after 35 years or so of DIY car maintenance, I achieved this milestone today.

Looking back....it was always going to happen....

Sprayed it with a bit of plusgas......didn't wait any length of time, no preheating/freezing or whatever, just put on the snugly fitting 13mm socket, and give it a gentle try with the normal ratchet.

See that some 1:12 and 1:18 models have appeared on the Ottomobile website, eg:

I have an Engine up my sleeve as you might expect but it ain't that good. For a start the only picture of it shows the number 90000 ! In a previous incarnation it was 63000 but there are no pictures on the internet of it, and it's a former Austerity 2-8-0 built by the North...

Am currently on holiday in the Skoda in France - currently overnight stopping in Beaune on the way down to Régusse in the morning.

It's become apparent after 500+ miles today at speed that the front tyres, though legal and at the correct pressures are, let's say, well past their best.

Got my new laptop and trying to transfer the WOW Snooper program from the old one, got a spare hdd and popped it into one of those external cassettes, connected it to the old laptop switched it on and my robot vacuum cleaner started up. :o
