If you look at the tables ten posts above this you can see that updating from 2.1 (actually 2.10) is only advised to 2.21 to be good. Any higher version will need a Diagbox session which means going to a Citroen dealer so they can connect to the servers in Paris to download the configuration file for your vehicle. They will charge for this service.

You should be able to use the Mirascripts program to download the current configuration from your vehicle before you go to the higher updates and then upload this configuration to new firmware. This should work although a post above says that they had failure doing this. Mirascripts can also change your configuration (for volume, Bluetooth echo, etc) although I have never done this.

Check your PM for a link to download 2.21. This is a version to load onto a USB stick. Usual disclaimers, use this at your own risk, etc.

Use Mirascripts to download your configuration first just in case of an unforeseen problem. Let us know if this works for you and then, if necessary, I can provide links to later firmware versions.

The problem of the bluetooth is yet here but less curently.

I use iPhone 13 mini and the BT version of my C4 is : BT:4.74.1d.
Is it compatible ?

Whilst researching my answer to you I did come across a post by someone who said that had cured their BT problem when the reached version 2.7something (probably 2.77). So maybe do that but if you do there's no going back if it makes things worse.

Hello! Can anyone plase give me link to the RT6 2.86 full Firmware. I can only find the 60/80 Mb update, not the 500/600Mb one. Can any one give me the full version, please?

We've had something like this before with someone insisting there was a much larger version. It turned out that the poster didn't have an RT6 system at all and was looking at an RT5 (I think) system. AFAIK there is only the 80 MB update for the RT6.

A photograph of the front of your unit might help identify what you have.

I dont know myself what is the memory of the version. Chat GPT said it should have 500/600 MB. It says that the 80 Mb is just an update from the anterior version to the last one. The thing is that my SD card is dead (black screen/nothing working; but my PC can still read the info on it). I just need the 2.86 full Firmware so my radio cand work again. I know the problems it could cause, but i have saved from the original card the essential info of the car.

Well, it doesn't look wrong! You won't know until you try to restore the configuration though.

Yes, it certainly could. I would suggest you upgrade to an 8GB microSD card though.

The photos don't show much that we didn't already know except that the SD card is 4GB capacity and confirming that the radio is RNEG2 (RT6). It doesn't reveal what firmware version was originally fitted.

Hello all! So all my attempts to put the last firmware on a new microSD card were a failure. It simply didn’t work. Black screen with no result. After many days of trying to repair it I finally gave up. I searched on SH app for another RT6 unit. I found a guy. He told me that he can repair mine. I don’t know what kind of sorcery he’s doing but he somehow found that my unit gets stuck at 80% during the booting process. He replaced the processor of the unit and then he put the last firmware with all the maps on a 16GB card. I sent him my VIN and told him what type of audio pack I have on my car. He put all the new settings on and now my radio is working very well. He also said that he successfully put 32 and 64GB cards in the unit. He’s some kind of a magician ))).

I’m very thankful that I found him.
