Meanwhile, I spotted two Picassos comparing notes today. One of them is grand

* She was born in 1995, not actually when the ship in question sank... Just to remove any doubt

With how they're chopping all nature down around here to build warehouses for both goods and people, the rooks may soon have to!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
The garage I take my cars to for their MoTs... The workshops - equally tumbledown - are behind this building facing the road. It was once a pub and hence the rather odd name for an automotive establishment...
The building has been declared unsafe and only one room is now accessible - the garage reception and office...
It's a listed building and part of our town heritage. It was once thatched before the roof was replaced by corrugated iron.
There is an order for the landlord to restore the building and make it safe but progress is slow. We hope it happens before it finally falls down!
It's located right next door to part of the Aston Martin heritage estate.
Steve, the garage proprietor, does not own any of the buildings...

Nice image Jim, given I'd underestimated how far back Harris / Heras fencing goes!

Ahh well, we've always been very ahead of the curve in Paggers and readily embrace all that's very newMattBLancs wrote: 16 Apr 2025, 21:10 Nice image Jim, given I'd underestimated how far back Harris / Heras fencing goes!

That Heras fencing is controversial. We can't se how it will help if the building does fall down and as it is, totally blocking the pavement, it's seriously dangerous for pedestrians along that stretch of busy road...
Never knew both Heras and Wheelie Bins are nothing very new

Death by falling building Vs road casualty= suspect it's attempt at one potential court case being deflected to another's responsibility!
Or answer to the question "what's the absolute bare minimum that could be done to make it look like the demanded repairs have begun?"
