@ Paul-R - "Our 308 uses a passive system which uses ordinary valves and relies upon the ABS system monitoring the rotational speed of each wheel and tyre" mine has the sensors in each rim
@ Xantia -V6 - Sounds like you have the same system as me on our 2012 CC.
@ RichardW - "INFLATION PRESSURE LOSS INDICATOR WITHOUT TYRE DEFLATION INDICATOR" that is so French.... what on earth does that mean

, inflation pressure loss, does that not mean the tyre is deflating. OR in the wife's case it is noisy and the steering is wonky, whats wrong with it ???? wouldn't mind but I was still at home at the time

.
End of the day folks I am not fussed about getting them to work again as on cars this "old" they can be a bit of an annoyance, I just found it strange when we came to wheel change time so we ditched the OE wheel and put new like for like size wheels on the tyre guy said Oh.... you have TPMS valves you need to get new stems, which threw me a little as I remember the vehicle when we 1st had it haveing a very low tyre, yet no warning, odd nothing comes up on dash at start up, but then for er in doors to drive with a flat and no light I thought really odd, basically I could of fitted the chrome valves that I bought for the new wheels, then the tech in our place said that some Peugeots he had worked on and changed tyres had the monitors in the wheels yet no system in the car, he had the same thought as Xantia, they fit the monitors to all the OE wheels, ship them to the factory who just fit them regardless of TPMS ECU's
I have looked all through the cars setting at lunchtime (board with a butty) and in all of the settings I find nothing to "re-set" them if one is low or something sets off the warning so surely if you get a low tyre the ligh comes on you don't have to go to a dealer to switch the warning off, surely not
But it has got voice control I found that out AND I can unlock one or all doors off the plip! wow!!!! Never knew that but there again it's the wife's car so not going to change any of it.
