If you put an Elizabeth Line placard on the planter you could say it's in memory of the queen.

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

I rather like those Mick and they would look great in my gardenmickthemaverick wrote: 08 Jun 2023, 17:57
At the end of April I was looking to replace the dahlias I had ruined, with the late removal of the covering sheet, with something which would spread and fill the bed, and preferably be perennial. After much searching I came up with Gaillardia 'Sun' as an ideal option:

Whilst on the subject of pretty and beautiful things, I enjoyed lunch with this one yesterday

She loves her mum's home cooking and those falafal are something special

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
My latest acquisition (unfortunately).
Second picture is the poor dejected original car which will now be the spared dept for the other two. Can never get these pictures to come out in the right order.

Never did find my air in fuel fault but I suspect now that its the HP pump, which is expensive and difficult to get at. I view of the fact that the clutch is now slipping and there are several other problems I have decided to write it off, all the work would have cost me more than I paid for the replacement car. The new one has the disadvantage of being a 1.6 but is in beautiful condition and I only had to go to Somerset for it.

I like the one with the cows Neil - except we hardly have any now but the terrain looks very similar.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Ran past this a number of times in Coombe Abbey Park yesterday...
What the good folk of Coventry get up to deep in the woods is a bit worrying...
When I first saw it I thought it said AX THROWING ARENA
That would have been far more worrying

Best to go to such places in your Bentley to avoid any accidents Jim.
Just looked and there are scores of axe-chucking places around here.
Looked for a picture and it is all these:-

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I tagged this photo with "not often you see a collection of these, proper Herefords I think" on my POTD post on Friday.
Little did I know at the time they are indeed, very special prize winning Herefords, some of the finest in the country, from Moralee Herefords, Old Potato House Farm, Mickley, Northumberland.
58 pictures in their own gallery here clunky website though you have to scroll down to see the pics.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Half a mile along the restricted byway past the award winning Herefords is the site of the former Eltringham Colliery and its Brickworks. In later years part of the redevelopment was an Industrial Estate which was the home of two of the products which most FCF'ers either currently have or will have had in their garages/sheds and applied on their vehicles.
Waxoyl and Hammerite.
100 POTD points for an original photo posted up on this very thread of either by the end of play today.
