The car started being like all our politicians, (fecking about and being resistant to my wishes etc) so I punched it in the face !

A little bit of 2.1td work is required :)

Some little bits to weld.....BUT
This has been caused by a hit to the arch at some point, NO rust protection was done on the inside face of the wing it is not the "normal" wing rot.
The areas inside the boot/inner wing are all clear and the sealant line is good, not swelling at the door shut area either.
A small patch on the sill from a damaged Sill-end plug also needs a patch.....all on the lower edge of the sill from water/Mud build up....about the size of a fag packet.

A body-shop had overpainted with seam sealer then top coated with stone chip :( The Sill-end bung had been filled with silicon the revived seam sealer and a coat of underseal.

I HATE bodgers, shoot the bastards !

Anyway, as said I have the parts and it does not make the job much bigger to replace a small piece/large piece.

Finished digging, got to the clean stuff...the is more rust up my nose and down the back of my neck than the car now ! (What is left is just surface so will get to that later and use rust converter, S90 cavity wax/rust inhibitor from Bilt&Hamber will cope with what is left.

Time to start cutting the part from the Latvian V6.

That's a beautifully tidy bit of work Alasdair :D
