That was my opener, I have plenty from my travels around Europe
These were from a previous job. I had to remove the plane wings before I could load it, watched by Storm trooper and Darth Vader, at Elstree Airfield in the UK

Interesting job Steve, a bit different to the lads/girls trying to deliver a hundred Ebay parcels a day round the suburbs.

I had to go to B&Q this morning so on the way I dropped in to one of my local fisheries to see if anything was happening...deserted, so I took a couple of pics to share:

I have reached my 1300th post already so as usual a celebratory car picture is called for. 1300 has many possibilities so I have picked out a more unusual one than an Austin 1300. Full information about it can be found at https://bringatrailer.com/2010/08/01/19 ... age-racer/

Perusing the Geograph Gallery Pictures, I came across this wonderful composition from the Upper Eden Valley.
Quite incongruous but what a backdrop....superb. There are more of the same event. The first pic drew me in and a cream and yellow livery on the second just chose itself...click for a bigger pic
