Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I didn't expect to find this when I investigated my substitute daughter's squeal:
And 500 points for anyone who can identify the car from these pics!!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I've been looking through some old nature pics and I came across these two, both from a mediterranean cruise a few years ago. If I remember correctly the lizard was on Crete and the chicks in Cephalonia!

I honestly didn't expect anyone to tackle this so well done for trying Neil. I'm impressed that you found any clues at all!! All I can say is right nationality, wrong maker!!

Well Mick, would your daughter have been influenced in her Japanese Vehicle Choice by her dad?mickthemaverick wrote: ↑14 Jan 2020, 22:12 I honestly didn't expect anyone to tackle this so well done for trying Neil. If so then out of the remaining obvious Japanese Makers
NISSAN, Mitsubishi, Honda, Subaru, Diahatsu, Isuzu, Suzuki, and Mazda
I would favour Mazda.....although Suzuki's these days on value for money are quite popular.
Final answer.....you will have to do the reveal and I claim ony 100 points for getting the country right

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
An interesting and logical sequence to your almost correct conclusion!! While I did my best to convince her to have an MX3 she pointed out that it was "too damn small!!" So we decided that as my partner has a Celerio which she is very happy with, then Suzuki was the way to go, remembering my bike, and she picked the SX. I completed the replacement of the pads today and the squeal is gone but I have a nasty feeling that there is a very slight bend in the caliper bearer as I had a struggle lining up the mounting bolts. That may, with use, have caused the drastically asymetric wear on the pads but time will tell. They are braking fine at the moment!! 150 points awarded, you did pick out Suzuki with Mazda!!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
By my reckoning, from that picture location, you are a mere 14 miles away from the AA box at HalfWay house on the A3052 Exeter-Sidmouth Road.
Peter.N. Was the first with a pic, and his Merc, although Van had discovered it too but doesnt do Pics!

Exact location on Street View.....going from Exeter on A3052 direction Sidmouth, pass the Halfway Inn on the left, the junctions to left and right and its just past the end of speed limit sign in a layby to the right.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Was finally able to get the poor thing a decent wash today so grabbed a few photos while it was clean.
Was quite pleased with how this pair came out looking.
Yes, I have now clipped that brightwork on the rear bumper back down... hadn't noticed it was adrift until I looked at the photos!
