long time no see, have once again dipped my toe into the murky pool that is french car ownership, and now due to the other half buying a car that she thought "had a high clutch because it was old" *rolls eyes* got lumbered with a 1.4 megane mk 2 that needed a clutch.
the garage replaced the clutch and at some point of the process removed the battery, now the front windows have gone belly up.
the passengers side went up and down in stages, so i did the "hold for 10 sec" at each limit trick and thats sorted that, however the drivers one wont do anything, I would think a BSI reset is first step but as i cant open the window im a bit stumped, does it have to be down for the reset to work?
can i have someone sat in car to turn the lights on as per the BSI reset procedure ?
or do i have to pull the door card and put 12v straight onto the window to get it down ?
any help would be appreciated as my other half is driving round in it as is part of her homecare job and having a "meltdown" literally as its 23 degrees here today
