Re: Citroen - Relay - Bluetooth problems
Same advice applies unfortunately - The Nemo is another vehicle collaboration with Fiat and therefore I have very little on this.
There was a technical service bulletin (d5bw010nq0) concerning the flashing of the odometer and a malfunction of the hands-free unit, if fault codes B10AA and U1733 are stored in the BSI.
So you have the reference of the TSB, which you could discuss with the dealer and they can tell you what that relates to / any fix that may need to be applied.

Re: Citroen - Relay - Bluetooth problems
Many thanks for the swift reply. Both of those codes were stored in the BSI before we reset it.
If I ring the dealer, do I just quote the TSB number and then they should know what Is required.
Is this a dealer only fix or will any other mechanic be able to sort this?
Thanks in advance

Re: Citroen - Relay - Bluetooth problems
Hi - they will ask for your VIN first, (and do note that that should be a zero not a letter 'O' in your VIN), and then by all means quote the TSB. They will have this come up under their database. The TSBs are chargeable and I don't have this particular one, and they contain the issue and the fix - it may be as simple a procedure as a software download or a replacement unit - I cannot say. They may of course be reluctant to discuss that on the phone of course, but no harm in asking. You could ask them what is involved and the cost (if any) - but they may insist on a diagnostic first to confirm what you already know!

Cool. Many thanks for your help - I will try and give them a ring tomorrow. I have seen lots of posts Online about this problem but nothing about a fix.
Thanks

Re: Citroen - Relay - Bluetooth problems
The TSBs are kept close to their chest as they are often glitches, failures, compiled issues from customers with recommended fixes to the issues. Not something they like on general release,,,,

Re: Citroen - Relay - Bluetooth problems
I rang my local dealer and they first said that there wasn’t a TSB, then he said there was one if fault code u1733 and b10aa are both present then disconnect negative terminal and then he said it carried on and you need to do a proxy alignment too.
Do you think he meant to do the BSI reset? And then proxy alignment after?
How would I carry out a BSI reset on my Nemo, do you have any idea?
Thanks

Re: Citroen - Relay - Bluetooth problems
A BSI reset is common to PSA vehicles, but on FIAT based vehicles it is often used as well as a Proxy Alignment. It basically means one of the ECU modules is either mis/unconfigured or knackered. It is the Blue & Me system that is employed on this vehicle - an infotainment system for hands free calling and media playing etc. It is used on Chrysler Fiat vehicles and is called - wait for it - Windows Embedded Automotive
Say no more. Although in the early days of the Xsara, they did flirt with the 'Auto PC' as it was called, which was based on the same Windows CE architecture and that was rapidly abandoned shortly afterwards.
However the partnership dumped this in favour of QNX (Research in Motion of Blackberry fame), which is used by Harman Becker Automotive systems as it is far more reliable.
The flashing mileage on these indicates a faulty module and is very likely to be the Blue & Me unit. The Proxy Alignment should detect any issues and reconfigure the module and pair it to the Body Control Module (BSI).
If you have tried a BSI reset, and you friend has checked the system out and done a Proxy Alignment, then the Blue & Me unit is probably duff.
On some Fiat / Alfa vehicles changing the driver door switch pack or replacing with another head unit (even the same model) will also cause this requiring re-coding. Very similar to Diagbox when you replace the Head Unit or another part that needs coding to the BSI on a PSA vehicle.

Re: Citroen - Relay - Bluetooth problems
I haven’t tried a BSI reset yet, it was just the technician from Citroen was saying it says to disconnect the negative battery terminal for 30 seconds and then do a,y and z. I remember someone telling me about a bsi reset and thought it sounded similar. I just wondered what the instructions are for a BSI reset? It also turns out my friend used fiat multiscan software, do you think it would help more if I used lexia 3?
Thanks for all your help

Do you think using Lexia 3 would make any difference compared with using fiat multiscan?

Re: Citroen - Relay - Bluetooth problems
I suspect not - unless you also have the S1279 add on module for your Lexia interface, as this is required to interface with some of the ECUs on the Fiat-influenced commercial vehicles like the Nemo.

Hello
I got your email but was unable to reply as I didn’t have your email address. Sadly I never got any further with it, I have a friend who has the software to login in via the diagnostic port, but this made no difference. I was told Citroen made a fix about this fault but no one was prepared to tell me what it involves.
The only option I think would be to take it to Citroen and pay dealer prices, if you get anywhere with it could you let me know
