Citroen relay radio firmware help
Hi I've got a dab radio but the dab function doesn't work I can see the option button but cannot select the button? I've been told I need a firmware update to get it sorted but at a cost of £150 can any one supply or show me where I can download the update? I've added a photo of radio model below

Re: Citroen relay radio firmware help
Firmware is generally free of charge as it is a system level update and usually doesn't provide additional functionality. They may charge you labour to code and undertake the update though.
I'll need your VIN to determine the specific details.

Ok this is one of those horrid VP2 Digital FIAT units. Unfortunately the software update needs to come from PSA in France via their servers, so will be a dealer visit to update I suspect.

Re: Citroen relay radio firmware help
Good Evening,
I am wondring if it is possible to update the firmware for the radio of a 2017 Spacetourer (Jumpy). I am purchasing the car and I would like to have the android auto. As it stands rightnow, it does not seem to have it. I looked on the Android Auto Page, and It startes that the Car has it. But I do not seem it. Is it possbile that it was not activated from factory?
The car was first registered around april 2017.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Re: Citroen relay radio firmware help
You may need to get the dealer to check and activate it if it is not available. There were several systems fitted to these vehicles and they were available with different options - so depends on what you have, but it may just need activating or a software update.

Does anyone have links to the latest DAB radio firmware, mine has stopped receiving anything but BBCR2 & BBCR4.

Re: Citroen relay radio firmware help
Is your head unit one of the SMEG family? Give long press on the settings icon (the cog) and let us know what version of firmware is fitted.

Re: Citroen relay radio firmware help
I will need the VIN to determine what system you have - because if it's a FIAT / Ford variant it will have their telematics system fitted. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

Ok, so this is a Ford variant so I can't help you with this at all as it's a VP2 unit and I don't support it personally, sorry. Best to speak to your dealer as I know there were some units that had issues with buggy firmware and became bricked when certain firmware was applied.

Re: Citroen relay radio firmware help
When I bought the van a few years ago, the DAB radio wasn't working, I did a firmware upgrade myself and was perfect until this last few months - I thought I had the firmware from this forum but cannot find my previous posting so possibly not, I provided the vin and got the firmware, I don't recall a mention of a ford variant, it looks like a standard DAB non Nav radio to me and I was unaware of variants. does the unit have a sparate DAB antenna? as I recieve clearly Radio 2,3,& 4 and everything else is very poor, whereas it was normal.
