Greetings all,

Thought I should make an account, as I picked up an old 405 1.9td to replace my much loved e34 after an argument with a ditch.

I'll leave the car talk out of this post and pop in over in the peugeot forum as I had a followup question or two - but, said car very quickly developed head gasket problems and I was saved much pain owing to the fabulous info and advice contained on this forum! Welcome:D I had a little jaunt down the '303 yesterday morning - down to Alasdair's neck of the woods!

I'm also an ex-owner of a couple of 405s and many cars with the 1.9TD in them...
