Yep....they needed to be saved, if for nothing else to supply the French shell car with bits....but we will see when its all stripped out and I can asses it and all its horrors.
Having talked to them (what nice chaps they are) I am still expecting the shells to be compatible, if I do go ahead with the LHD/RHD conversion I will record what I do.

I would think the V6 will be scraped soon after stripping as I cannot hold 5 cars here.

Sorted the spare garage which generated loads of rubbish and spent ages sorting thru tools ect.....what a state I left them in .....I need to be punished.

I've got to get my workshop sorted before my project can start in earnest...

I know the green V6 well. Last time I had any dealing with it the mechanical bits were good. An excellent Activa donor....

...........I used 3x 105mm anti tank rounds and a grenade, seems to of worked but I will wait for the smoke to clear

Good to know that the v6 is familiar with you, were you close ?...I will be calling on that knowledge if I may....this will be a large learning curve for me as I am far more used to
hammering and hitting stuff made of heavy iron

At least I like to work clean, (to long in the medical world) so having a "dirty workshop" and a clean one for the car will be helpful....

Last time I had to do that, admittedly about 20 years ago now, it was a horrendous experience consisting mainly of patiently queueing in a grotty waiting room..

The postal service is now commendably fast too.. My new one came back very quickly...

Bet it won't be so easy for you to get your Visa for visiting any part of the UK beyond the Watford Gap.. I'm still waiting for mine

Me too with the passport, the waiting room reminded me of the Job Centers of the 70's
