Had a good day yesterday. I ran down to see dad in Somerset to install his new telly.

For once I didn't drive a Citroën down there. I drove a......

Brace yourselves....

A Vauxhalll

Actually although it's badged as one it was actually a little Suzuki Splash.

It was okay actually bar the sodding concrete driving seat. Not helped by my nether regions not being very well padded

In other news I've finally got an Android tablet - a Samsung Galaxy. It is absolutely ace. Posting from it now :-D

I'm hardly using my laptop now.,

I'm also back on Facebook. If you want to be my friend then please do. My full name is not hard to guess from looking at my website

You could consider me a "friend" without the need for Crackbook.

My problem is I drift in and out of it. One reason for me is to keep in touch with my family and friends who don't frequent the FCF or drive Citroëns. I have plenty of both!!

Something else that prompted me to return was the kids saying 'dad, have you heard about....'

'No.."

'Well, if you were on Facebook......'

I check in about four times a year. More often and it starts chewing at me.

Took my Activa out for a very enjoyable blast today....

Likely the last one of 2014...

She's soon going to be tucked up for a winter hibernation...

No spannering for me this weekend :( or anything else energetic for that matter...

I took a very hard kick to the ribs in karate last week. We were freestyle sparring which for the most part is great fun. I

thought all was Ok but seems it's not and in trying to exercise and do all the things I consider normal for me I'm repeatedly aggravating the injury to my ribs and I'm told now I must have a few days of full and proper rest...

I really must learn to block kicks. I must admit the one I took was a real cracker - possibly literally...

Either that or kick your opponent in the nuts first, always worked for me
