c5 sat navigation screen

Took it out and stripped it, looking attitude everything looks ok to me and put back in but just the same. It looks like a new screen I need. Do you no where to get these from as I don't fancy paying dealer prices. I've searched through eBay but there is done for my car.

The used screens are hard to find, because not that many are being sold, and the latest C5s aren't in scrapyards yet ... I gave it a quick search, here's one find: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Display-Bildschi ... 56600b6fff" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... as you haven't told us what navigation you have, I'm guessing you have the smaller screen (there are 2 versions actually), the RT4 & RNEG have a slightly smaller one, while the RT6 and 3d Navidrive have a larger one (known as DG4 screen) ... difference is under 3 mm ...

Hio, not much to add but as a rule of thumb, I NEVER trust that cables are OK, I mess with computers a lot and it is not uncommon for the cables to be faulty....it may be worth checking them by putting a few volts thru each wire and check for high resistance or failure.
This last came to prove itself when chasing a AirBag fault, a chaffed wire further up the seat/airbag loom making an earth.....if you have it at hand check it before it goes back on....

They seem VERY rare.....even if you snapped one up and did not need it you will be able to re-sell it easy so should not loose out

i believe its the rt4 with the hdd they screens are different to the one thats in mine. see pic its a different code and different back

There appear to be quite a few different part nos, no idea what the real differences are!

If you post up the last 8 digits of the VIN I can confirm the exact part number - I suspect it is used in other cars as well, so should be able to provide a list that may help with finding a breaker.
