so suddenly my 508 (1.6 bluehdi 120hp) started making very loud knocking noise, which I assumed to be engine knock at first. The noise mostly happened during idling, but the car was really loud in general. Upon investigation, I narrowed it down to a loose flexplate. I assumed I'd only need to retighten and glue these bolts, but couldn't...

My Peugeot 806 suddenly died when driving and wont start.
I have tired/checked the following:
- Gasoline pump wont start when turning ignition on
- When cranking the starter motor will crank but there is no spark
- Replaced double relay, still the same
- Tried to connect 12V directly to the fuel pump (through double relay plug), the pump starts...

I have a sunrooof drain leak into the cabin on my 309 which has the factory sliding sunroof with the vacuum seal.
On peeling the headlining back, I can see that the front corner drain tubes from the sunroof tray are quite corroded and weeping slightly.

It copes with normal rain ok, but not so good with washing the car when large volumes...

Is there an easy way to identify if my 2008 307SW Hdi has Bosch or Lucas/TRW front brake calipers?

Not sure yet if I need new calipers or just a service kit for the glide pins, front offside brake binds and only the fixed pad shows signs of excessive wear.

Alternator pulley disintegrated and was found lying on the sump guard, leaving just its innards still attached to the alternator 😢.

The car starts and drives and the battery voltage is near 14V, but the diesel (resistance/glowplug) light stays on and power steering does not work.

Running a scan shows the following errors:

my main question is, if I have a stage 1 remap will the car use more or less fuel than stock when driven normally?
