Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

this looks to be a good and friendly forum ,have a citroen zx td volcane in met red 103k mreg ,, done the water pump and timing belt, new rad and that long pipe that goes though the wheel arch from rad , fixed the elec windows and the wind up rears,best dumped the standard radio and facia ,fitted a Mutant radio with everything inc usb port...

Started off with a GS, moved on to 8v GTi which I owned for 17 years, then a ZX volcane and finally a Xantia exclusive. I ping about on BMW K100 RS bike...

Oh nothing fancy here - Only a boxer 1.9d van :lol:

Needs a bit of fixing, especially the dodgy immobiliser which will only let you start the car when it feels like it!! Need to figure out how to either bypass it on the wiring, or remove it all together. Unfortunately, it looks like a pump off job as it's in an armoured case!

Hi guys,

Can't believe I haven't found this forum before!
My names Luke, I'm 18 and live in Belfast.
I've loved french cars all my life, and grew up with a few Lagunas, Renault 21s and Citroen Xantias - that's when the obsession began.

I don't drive your typical teenage car... quite the opposite.
