I don't have knowledge of the Peugeot, but the issue of a loose connection is known with several makes of car.
I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look...

I'm no diesel expert, but I would seriously think about having the injectors checked. Each injector is setup to inject at a given pressure,(from the diesel pump) if the injector fails to open on time i.e. it requires longer to build up sufficient pressure to inject, it will effectively retard that cylinder by a few degrees. If i am right, then the compression that diesel comes under (ie a compression-ignition engine) is so high, that if you try to do the same with petrol it becomes unstable which means you cant control when the ignition will take place, give it a few minutes and the engine will be totally goosed.

The bolts we sell are true stretch bolts, to be used and tightened only once! I think that you will find that the bolts Citroen dealers sell are of the same design as our own.
Once you have torqued down the bolts (or tightened by degrees)there is no need to re-tighten them.

I notice that the replacement bolts from Andy spares lack the spirals around the bolt shanks that the originals had,so are they truley stretch bolts or just copies and should I treat them as one time torque'rs or as in the older HEX types which require a second tightening after some milage.

Branches such as Ipswich carry the majority of fast moving French stock,like filtration, braking etc. Due to their size, the branches do not carry as great a range as Andyspares Reading, or GSF Heathrow. Prices are generally the same. The branch can order stock from us or Heathrow ir required.
