citroen c5 x7 sill cover
Does anyone know the best way to remove a plastic sill cover
up, up and away

I have no idea on the C5 but usually inserting a plastic trim tool under the cover and sliding it along will reveal the actual fixing points which you can then deal with as necessary. 
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

It mainly held by plastic clips as I recall.
I'd recommend getting some of the round, white plastic, trim clips beforehand as you're guaranteed to need some.
