Hello! Unfortunately my C4 Picasso passenger mirror has malfunctioned and stopped folding both with the key and the mirror buttons.
Roughly at the same time, it started showing random temperatures and now suddenly doesn't show the temperature at all, the screen reads - - C°.
I'm more worried about the temperature sensor, because at the moment the A/C won't work and I'm thinking it's because of the outside temperature readings.
Hopefully you more experienced Citroen owners can help me out with what are my possible steps, and the order of them.
Look for bad wiring in the door jam? In the mirror?
Replace the sensor?
Replace the door control unit?
Thank you very much!
The car in question is a 2013 MK1 C4 Picasso

Welcome along
You are probably on the right track with the wiring either between the door and the car, or in the mirror itself. As it's only affecting the mirror, and more than one function I think I'd start there.

Yes I agree with Richard, presumably you have the outside temperature sensor mounted in the bottom of the mirror so to lose both that and mirror functions almost certainly points at a loss of earth to the unit. Very strong possibility that you will find a broken wire around the door hinge area
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Appreciate that, guys! Gonna take a look inside the door jam, and then try to take the mirror apart
