GP 4 Diesel 1.6 Blue HDi Whine from under rear seats

Hello there! Hopefully someone can help.

I have a 2015 Grand Picasso C4 1.6 Diesel and there is a new whine that I can hear especially loudly if my head is just above the central rear seat. The whine follows the revs a bit and is most prevalent when the engine is idle.

I think it might be the in tank fuel lift pump (???) as if as a test I pull the fuse in the F5 then the whine goes away just as I pull it and then a few seconds later the engine cuts out. I know this is not ideal but thought it would give me an indication of what was happening.

Does this sound, to those more knowledgeable than I, like its the low pressure fuel lift pump in the tank? And if so, and there is further confusion here, what would the OEM part number be? As some of them look very different to any of the diagrams I've come across.

I think you are probably right about the lift pump but I have no information to help as your car is newer than my backup database I'm afraid. Good luck
