Upgrading NAC Wave 2 to Wave 4 - Telecoding/VIN advice needed

Unread post by Loumi01 »

?Hi everyone,
?I am planning to upgrade the infotainment system in my Peugeot 308 (2019, T9) from the original NAC Wave 2 unit to a Continental NAC Wave 4 unit (part number 9843006480).
?I have already acquired a full-chip Lexia interface and have DiagBox installed. I understand the basics of the installation, but I am looking for some advice regarding the "pairing" process once the new unit is installed.
?I am concerned about the potential requirement for an online PSA token to perform the VIN coding/telecoding on the Wave 4 unit. Does anyone here have experience with performing this upgrade offline? Specifically, I would appreciate any tips or best practices on how to successfully handle the VIN pairing and configuration (to ensure the reversing camera and other vehicle features work correctly) without needing a professional online connection.
?Any advice or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

This is a topic I would suggest you ask our genius Rui. His website may help identify your system at https://sites.google.com/view/nac-rcc/ and hopefully he will see your query and be able to advise you. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
