Morning , i have just noticed this morning while driving that when I depress the clutch I can hear and slightly feel a "tump" sound, the clutch its a bit heavier that my old petrol car (which i assume its normal) but this new "issue" is driving me mad.
The car is a 2012 Citroen c5 2.0HDI

Can you hear the sound if you operate the clutch in and out with the car stationary and engine off?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

this might sound silly but after adjusting the carpet under the drivers seat the sound went off.
I think the carpet was getting caught in the clutch spring and hitting the panel when the clutch was depressed - this is a tick carpet anyway.
ridiculous :xxx

You're not the first to get caught by a rampant carpet!! Well done for sorting it
